Delicious. Quaint. Old world charm. Really enjoyed dinner at Juniors. The Caesar salad was fabulous - made table side. Had the fried shrimp. Nice wine list. Good service.
Our marketing group met for lunch at iconic Juniors. The lunch menu offers a variety of sides and I chose the crisp salad with homemade bleu cheese dressing. The Philly cheese steak was good for an Oklahoma version (the picture shows only half of the sandwich). Tammy was an efficient, friendly server and the kitchen was fast in turning out the food. After we adjourned, I went to the cozy bar for a $10, 10 yr old Glenmorangie. Most bars charge about $8 for a 12 yr old single malt but, hey, the atmosphere and Rachel the awesome bartender are worth the extra $2. It's a smoking bar with good ventilation. Cigars are available. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Life is good!
Great food and experience!. Best Caesar Salad in town----get the shrimp on ice! Amazing! The steaks and fried chicken are wonderful as well! Live music nights are great to share a martini with friends and enjoy the fun!
Atmosphere. I have enjoyed Junior's each time I've gone. It's a bit nostalgic, but I like it.
Special Occasions. Great for a romantic nigh out, great chicken livers
Caesar salad is amazing. Everything else INCLUDING the waitresses can go to heck!
Wonderful evening with great food and drinks. Excellent fillets cooked perfectly with the best Caesar salad we've had.
Go to steak place. We visited on a Saturday in April. It was a birthday dinner and I hadn't been to Junior's in years. I have to admit I was a little nervous. Oklahoma City has a number of nice steakhouses now and I wasn't sure how Junior's would compare. We make plenty of filets at home and are pretty particular. Junior's was great! Our service was excellent, food was perfect, wine list was great. We moved into the bar area after dinner and had a great time listening to a small band sing jazz standards. I love that they updated Junior's but kept many of the fun features of the past. This will be our go to steakhouse from now on! I do wish they would use real Parmesan cheese on the ceaser salads, especially since they take the care to make them table side.

AN OKC INSTITUTION. An Oklahoma City institution? Yes, and for darn good reasons. Expect top rate service, excellent food, slightly dated decor and extremely friendly greeting. A good meal, with tip, will probably set you back a modest $25 to $35 per person, with tip.
Best Caesar Salad in town, by the way -- real anchovies and just the right amount of egg yolk and garlic. If you get nothing else at Junior's, you MUST get the Caesar Salad. The chicken livers and gizzards alike are also delicious.
The only drawback? I won't fib -- the desserts are lackluster at best. Sorry, but frozen cheesecake and mediocre pie just don't do it for me.
But remember, folks -- you go to Junior's for steaks and Caesar Salads. You don't go for dessert.
BEST FRIED CHICKEN. We go here every time we are in OKC and always sit in the bar area. They have the BEST fried chicken. This time we had the grilled shrimp for appetizer. They were huge and tasted very fresh. I had the pan fried chicken of course. It is always delicious and the best fried chicken I've ever had. Its hand battered and comes with gravy to dip, a side and vegi. We also had the beef medallions. Those are also really delicious and were cooked to a perfect medium. This place is a little pricey but it is great quality. We have never had a bad experience.
The bar is smoking but it has good ventilation so it doesn't bother me to eat in there. I like the atmosphere, one of our friends said he felt like we were in a movie. The chairs are plush red leather with high arms and back that swivel. They are good for resting once you have had one of their strong drinks. They have a nice long cocktail list. I really like the caramel appletinis. On the weekends they have a trio of cocktail singers and musicians that put on a great show and even take song requests. I love this place. It's a fantastic find!!
I go to Junior's often, but always in the evening. This was the first time I met some friends for lunch. They have a nice lunch menu and the prices are very fair.
Awesome Steakhouse! Atmosphere is a throwback to vintage steakhouses. The staff treat you like family. The steaks were amazing! The grilled shrimp was awesome. When in town, you gotta stop by!
The first challenge is finding the place. One you do it's well worth it.
Find the oil center building. Take the descending driveway to the lower level parking. The entrance to the steak house is to the right.
Excellent example of an old school steak house. I had to ask if it was a private club. I'm sure JR Ewing had dined here. It's open to all. Professional casual is the requested dress but it was not being enforced at least at 5:30.
The prices are really reasonable considering the new normal and the venue. The food was very good. We will be back.
As good of a steakhouse as you’ll find for the price. (Great value) I had the ribeye but i would recommend the filet. Sides were okay, but the price was terrific. 4 prime cut steak dinners with 2 sides each for $200 is tough to find in the metro.
Service is top notch. Wine menu was solid. They also have an ice cream alcoholic after dinner drink that really was a home run. We will be back for sure.
Thank you Jennifer for opening my eyes to how my review was. I can’t complain. The food was good. The service is great and I would come here any time for a drink or meal. Great price for the lunch steak. Very good conversation. We don’t see things from the other side always and I appreciate this place more for taking the time to listen. I was nit picky when really this place offers great service. Thank you again.
One of my favorite places. The chicken liver appetizers are perfectly cooked and the cream gravy is as good as grandma makes. I had the chicken fried steak which was fork tender. The Ruben was perfectly proportioned with the right combination of ingredients. One of the best Ruben’s in town. Try their burgers. I love their escargot.
We came for a large group in the back private room! It was amazing. The food was delicious, and the service was quick and wonderful. Can’t wait to come back.
An absolute OKC staple, Junior’s has held its as a premiere dining location for decades. The perfect spot for a birthday or nice outing with the family. Junior’s is located underground off of NW Expressway lined with red velvet walls and excellent service. Whether you are going for a filet, lobster tail, or their famous Brandi Ice - you will not be disappointed. A classic establishment with tasty entrees and desserts for everyone.
Ordered the Strip and Orange roughy. The steak was good but the fish was very dry. Still a good place to go!
We love the old school bar here. Reminiscent of the 60s. We ate in the bar and the shrimp cocktail was wonderful.
