We were there Thursday evening for dinner. The fried ravioli appetizer was crispy, full of cheese and the tomato sauce for dipping was fresh and full of flavor! We shared The Heap pizza, with adjustments to each half that were accommodated perfectly. We like thin crust, and Joey’s is super thin and crispy. The ingredients are fresh, making one of the best pizzas in OKC! It wasn’t our first visit, and won’t be our last!
The hot wings were perfect all around! Lots of flavor and good crisp. Keoki nailed the recommendations with the Chicken ranchero and cajun shrimp pizza combo. Weren't too spicy, perfect little kick. Finished with some awesome spumoni gelato! I'll be back to see Keoki and Nia again!
Located in the art's district near downtown, this is perhaps the best pizza in town. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Sleek bar with sports playing on big screen televisions. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced terrific pizza and the best crust in town, bar none.
The beef stroganoff is a little different from what you're used to but it is very good and their chicken broccoli pasta was phenomenal. And I finally had their pizza it is pretty good. The place is nice and clean good service no complaints.

My wife and I tried this pizzeria with another couple on an August Saturday night. We made a reservation for 5:15 pm, but it turned out not to be necessary. There were plenty of open tables when we arrived. However, when we left at 6:30 pm, there were just a few open tables.
To start off, my wife and I shared the full size garden salad. It came out as described in the menu. It is nice to go to an Italian restaurant and receive a salad that is not built on top of a pre-made salad mix base. The best part about it was the balsamic vinaigrette dressing that we ordered with it. The dressing was served on the side. It had all of the tart-sweet punch that balsamic vinegar brings as an ingredient, and it made a great dipping sauce for my pizza crusts later on in the meal.
Three of us ordered a medium, hand-tossed pizza. We split it half-and-half. One half was the chicken alfredo pizza, while the other half was the Joey's meatball pizza. I did not try the chicken alfredo pizza because thick, buttery white sauces make me sick, but my wife and her friend said that it was delicious. I was not impressed with the meatball pizza. I liked the diced raw red onion, and the crust was yeasty and chewy. However, the meatball pieces were not big enough to give you much standalone meatball flavor, and the sauce was not at all zesty. Before I started eating my second piece, I requested basil and oregano from our server. I was expecting a shaker with dried herbs. Instead, to my pleasant surprise, she brought out a little aluminum cup with chopped fresh basil inside of it. I was impressed with that response to my request. Still, I wish they would add a zesty sauce option to their menu for those of us who like our sauce packed with more herbs and heat.
The fourth diner in our group ordered cheese ravioli. It was presented in one of those large diameter shallow ceramic bowls. He offered to share some of his raviolis with us, but I declined because I was full after two slices of pizza and some salad.
The only question that I have after visiting this restaurant is: What is "Chicago hand-tossed" pizza? I thought Chicago is known for deep-dish pizza and New York is known for hand-tossed pizza. By the way, the best New York style pizza in the OKC metro is in Bethany at Papa Angelo's.
I love this place! The crust is buttery and garlicy and tastes heavenly! We got an Under the Tuscan Sun pizza and a side salad. It was so good! The pizza has an egg over easy on top!!! Awesome!! Will be back!!
Great pizza, had the 10" Colossal Meat pizza with several types of meat. I got the hand tossed and was very good, browned on the bottom perfectly. Only able to eat half, will eat the rest tomorrow for lunch. There were two things about the restaurant I was disappointed, neither regarding the food. 1. Very little parking and 2. The wait time from order to eat was long. All in all a great restaurant.
okay, I have to start by saying I didn't care for the sauce on the pizza, but every other item, my party ordered hit a home run. The adults ordered drinks, being a margarita and mojito, and the waiter took extensive time going over each drink on the menu. Next we ordered our meal, beef ravioli, pizza, calzone and then desserts of gelato and crepes, which were fabulous! The management has done a superior job, in training the staff and such a neat and eclectic building as well!!! This is in the Film Row section of Oklahoma City.
Had the thin crust w/ pepperoni and pineapple and it was really goooooood! Cheese is a big deal for me it was great as well as the sauce. Crust was great as well.
Good little pizza joint. The staff are friendly and I like the laid back atmosphere. In an area lacking in non-fast food lunch options, Joey's is a tiny oasis. Good food, good service - a nice place to relax during the lunch hour.
After reading all the latest reviews of people who didn't like their dinner, I was apprehensive about trying this place. I'm glad I did. The pizza crust was thin and crispy with dark floury bits on the bottom. I also ordered the pasta to try and it was really good as well. Delivery was fast for a Friday night. Overall very good and I have plenty of leftovers for the rest of the weekend!
We stopped at Joey's today for the first time. We would recommend it highly! The Cesar salads were fresh and tasty, and the Philly cheesesteak pizza was delicious. We will go again!
I have been here throughout the years and it's not always consistent, but somehow it's still really good. The service has always been amazing in the atmosphere is great. My daughter loved the cinnamon stick option on the kids meals. The meatballs were very good. The Margarita pizza is made very differently here, next time maybe I'll order it with a thin crust. I love both crusts. So either way, I'm sure i'd be happy. The only thing I would change was having a small diced cut on the tomatoes. The large cut is more for a salad and really strays away from a true margarita pizza. We did love it and we will be back.
Food was good. Atmosphere was nice. My fettuccine was not what I expected. The meatballs were really good.
I enjoyed the fresh lemonade,
breadsticks with cheese and the Bianca Neve with cauliflower crust mushrooms added. Very good.
Dined there for the first time last night. Food was delicious! Seasonings were spot-on! Meatballs were very good. We had a large party that ordered several different appetizers plus lots of entrees & pizzas. Everything looked scrumptious! Plan on returning!
The Atmosphere was nice and the customer service was great the cocktails were good and refreshing really enjoyed them. We got the heap pizza and enjoyed it very much, I love the crust I’m not a big pizza eater but this may be my new spot not to mention the music 🎶 playing was good I found myself singing and eating I will definitely be back!!!
Ate here last night and it was delicious! The food is freshly made , the family that owns it was there running the place and it felt like we were invited to dinner at a friends place. So fresh, delicious and friendly. Super cute area too! I’d highly recommend
We ate here last night before going to the Civic Center as is our usual habit. Everything about our experience was fantastic. Our food was delicious. We shared a medium size pizza, which you can customize half and half and our server Monica was always on top of things for us. Highly recommend and we will be back once again when we are in the area.
Joey’s is a special place for me. I have been going here ever since the first week they opened. In the past this use to be my go to at least 3 or 4 times a month. Nowadays there are so many options, but I always know I will have a great meal at Joey’s. The pizza is delicious, but we went with their baked pastas. We started with the toasted ravioli and it is a must try when you are here for your first time. Always great service and super kind people who run this place. Glad we still have Joey’s!
The Italian salad tastes as good as it looks! A great combination of meat and vegetables with tangy, creamy Italian dressing. The service is fast and friendly. This place isn’t as busy as it should be with food this good!
