Shartel Cafe catered our son and new daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner.  The food was outstanding. Every bite from salad to dessert was delicious. The owners were very accommodating.

Good food. It is by my office and I have stopped in a few times. The food is always good. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green bean special the other day and it was fabulous. A little pricey, but the food is very good.

The owner and his wife were working the counter and were very helpful. The food was good, priced appropriately, and served quickly. My wife and I enjoyed the meal and will return. I'll also take my clients here for lunch.

Quite nice!. I stopped in for breakfast and some work the other day. This is a nice, roomy coffee house, clean, with plenty of tables. There was a nice selection of baked goods as well as regular breakfast items. The early morning crowd seemed predominantly over 40. I had a great yogurt/granola/blueberry dish for breakfast and a solid Café Americano. Very pleasant place to hang out and very good service.

Very enjoyable.. Went there on a date, packed around the noon time. But it was worth it. Would visit this cafe again!

Our mission to try new places to eat led us to Shartel Cafe this morning. I was hoping for better since it had such a high rating. I ordered the breakfast quesadillas and they're okay. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and it was also okay. Both would be much better with the addition of at least some pepper jack cheese...just something to give it a little kick. My son ordered the french toast and it was good but nothing spectacular. We also ordered biscuits and gravy which was pretty good. All-in-all we won't be making the drive to the opposite side of town for this again.

Good food and friendly. I'm not sure who wrote the rant about the rude wait staff but I didn't get any negativity from them. Food was good and not pricey. I would come back anytime.

Why so much hate?. I have been eating at the Café for over a year, yes the staff can improve just like anywhere else but the kindness and happy atmosphere is great. The 4 girls/waiters are actually friendly. I am unsure why people have ever complain about them. When something is wrong they fix it. Not only that, the food is great and at an average price. P.S. Order a cinnamon roll. Its magic.

We stopped by on a Sunday morning just on a whim. So glad we did! Ordered the breakfast quesadillas and had to force myself to stop eating them because they were so good! The gals and guys that were working were so pleasant. We will definitely be back!

It's okay.... If there was an option to just be indifferent that's how I feel about this place... the food was okay, defintely nothing to write home about!

The staff is very friendly and it seems like they have a lot of regular customers. That says something about their service. The food is reasonably priced, flavor was just okay. We came at lunch and the wait wasn’t very long even for a busy time of day. The menu has a lot of options for both breakfast and lunch.

The cinnamon rolls were heavenly. The dine in experience was very pleasant. It had a “homey” neighborhood feel. I had a full breakfast. The biscuits were light, flaky and delicious. The ham was good, not too salty and the scrambled eggs were okay. The hash browns were not my favorite but the breakfast overall was very good. The cinnamon roll was the star.

This place is a must stop for us when we come to town. The food is all homemade and very reasonably priced, not to mention delicious. We love grabbing a breakfast sandwich on our way out of town. Their biscuits are absolutely amazing! And, don’t even get me started on their homemade cookies…try one, you won’t be sad you did. The employees are so friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like family. You can tell they are proud of their quality food. Will be back every time we are in town.

It was a little strange paying and ordering before being seated but we did and the food came quickly. Everything was good. The chicken fry was a little tough but seasoned well. I also had a hard time finding the breakfast items online but full breakfast is served for anyone wondering. Overall it was pretty good.

Don't understand why you have to order and pay then find a seat. 40 minutes to get breakfast is ridiculous. As I'm writing this review my meal was delicious.

Freaking delicious as always!!!! Was over joyed that I was able to order breakfast for lunch. Customer service was super friendly and very fast. This is a must visit for some classic food.

The bread and baked goods are exceptional. The soup and salads are very nice. The staff is friendly and prompt.
