Haven’t been here since the 80’s, and finally went back, this time with my hubby and his family, who were all first-timers. We tried several dishes...gnocchi with pesto cream sauce, calamari, toasted Italian bread, Caesar salad, house salad, Italian bean soup, eggplant parm, tortellini, lobster ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, gooey chocolate pudding, cheesecakes, Italian cream cake...every dish was spectacular! The service was great, and we left so full we were hurting. Will definitely be back...soon!

At first we were sat in bad lighting where my parents couldn’t read, but they were very kind and accommodating to move us to a brighter area. The free bread that came with our meal was delicious, along with all of the rest of our food. Overall, a very good dining experience!
Best pizza I have had in many many years! The smokin Italian mac and cheese was so savory! Great service and great food! My wife and I will definitely have to go back some time soon. This restaurant deserves 5/5 stars!!!!
Yum!!! The calamari is delicately breaded and served with a healthy portion of their spicy diablo sauce. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana which is quite different from other Italian places. Flips serves a thick chicken breast instead of the usual thin chicken cutlet and it's served with a side of linguine with garlic butter sauce instead if the usual spaghetti. I ordered the Smokin' Italian Mac and Cheese and it was delicious! Probably the best Mac and cheese ever. For dessert we split a piece of chocolate peanut butter pie. This is served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. All I can say is yummy. Everything from start to finish was very good. We will definitely return.
Long time coming. I'm ashamed to say that I had never eaten Italian food at Flips...only their brunch. We joined friends here for dinner on a 1/19/13. Place was packed and we waited for around 30 minutes. Surprisingly, no one offered us drinks. We managed to secure a table and ordered our meals. I ordered the mac and cheese with half ceasar. Other orders were a calzone, greek salad and meatballs. My mac and cheese rocked. The others were happy with their meals as well. I sampled the other dishes and found them very tasty. This isn't the best Italian food I've ever had but it's certainly very good and worth a visit. We'll be back. Sauces are home made and delicious. We weren't super excited about the noise level as it made conversing with our friends difficult so I suspect we'll try a weekday night next time. Service at the table was excellent.

Today we ordered the garlic parmesan toast as an appetizer, two bowls of lentil soup, the smokin' Italian mac and cheese, and the gnocchi pesto cream. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Including the service. It was a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was fairly busy but our waiter was not flustered and apparently neither was the chef. I'd be doing this restaurant and injustice if I didn't say this was the most flavorful meal I've had in a long time. I can't vouche for the rest of the menu but if you order what I had you surely won't be disappointed.
Overall a "B-". I stopped because it always seemed busy. We'll start with the bad..... The server wasn't any good and the white clam sauce was bland and didn't use fresh clams. Someone should show the chef where the garlic and seasoning is and a little chopped Italian parsley would be nice. The good news.... The salad was really good, the fresh pasta was outstanding and the price was reasonable. I'll return.
Great place to eat. The Chicken Lasagna is the BEST meal in OKC.
Pricey but tasty!. Flip's has a nice atmosphere. We went on an early Sunday evening, so it wasn't too crowded. If the weather had been cooler, I imagine sitting out on the lovely patio would have been a nice experience.
Our waiter was attentive, and very helpful with our questions about the menu, since it was our first time at Flip's.
The prices are a bit high--however, the portions are huge, so it's very possible to split an entree.
My boyfriend and I ordered the marinara dumplings to start. They were fantastic and the marinara was spicy and delicious. Then we split the vegetarian pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, which I normally don't care for. But this crust really fit the pizza, which was loaded with delicious vegetables and more of the marinara sauce.
With an appetizer, the pizza was more than enough for two, and we spent around $25, including tip. I definitely recommend trying Flip's! We'll probably go back to try the eggplant parmesan sometime.
Absolutely amazing meal! From the tomato basil soup and the house salad to the main course, the food is absolutely amazing. The best fettuccine Alfredo and tomato basil soup I have ever had. I tried some of the meatball sub and it was phenomenal. I am thrilled I tried this place and I will absolutely be back!!
Wonderful experience for early dinner/late lunch. I was hesitant on trying the meat lasagna due to some previous reviews but I went for it…oh it was amazing! Yes it has black olives in it and to be honest, it makes it AMAZING! My husband had the Spaghetti and meatballs, the spaghetti noodles look like they are made in house and are about the size of an Udon noodle. He loved it, and he’s a skinny noodle guy. The meatballs were a little on the unseasoned side but were tender. The bartender Rustin, is amazing, he recommended some beer choices for us that were perfect. Overall amazing atmosphere and food. We will be back
We had a great Sunday lunch by the window. Awesome bar with many wine selections. $2 mimosas for brunch. We had the Flips Picatta and Mediterranean Pasta with a Ceasar Salad. All superb.
I like the environment. I had lunch there on a Friday. There weren't many people that day.
I recommend calamari. It tastes so good!
My wife and I had an amazing lunch date at Flip’s. I have their gluten free pasta with Italian sausage and red sauce and it was fantastic. They also had $2 mimosas on this Saturday morning which were also great. This is a quaint spot for a lunch date and a great Italian meal. I bet it’s just as nice going for dinner. Can’t wait to sit on their terrace once some nice weather comes in!
One of my favorite Italian eateries and bars in the area . Great atmosphere inside or outside in the patio . Chic bar area and selection of good bourbons and wines .
The food and appetizers and desserts are fresh and creative . Had the smokestack ( eggplant Parmesan) and our group had the fettuccine Alfredo . All delicious and reasonably priced .
Service was excellent and friendly . No pushy questions or attitudes.
The place has a nice vjbe .

Super unique building and feel inside, but all the less very cheery and fun inside. Excellent Italian cuisine with a great drink menu. Waiter was slightly moody with us, but he did seem pretty busy meaning the bar and a few tables in the bar area as well during a busy time.
Would highly recommend the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Breakfast quiche you can pass on, the flavor is severely lacking with it.
What can I say the service, food, and atmosphere was phenomenal! We came in with a big group right before the kitchen closed and they made sure we were taken care of! The food was really good! I will definitely be visiting again!
We randomly picked Flip's, and it was a great choice. It did pick up a bit when we arrived so our waitress was super busy but the manager and another worker got our drink orders and checked on us multiple times through our dinner. The food was amazing and fairly priced. We had a really nice time and able to enjoy each other's company.
I started going to Flips in the eighties but moved to another state in 1988. Every time I go back to OKC area to visit family I try my best to visit Flips. I love eating here the atmosphere, service, interior style, and the food is still top notch! Just being there puts a smile on my face. LOVE YOU FLIPS❣️
