Louie's Grill & Bar

Everything about this place is exceptional, great meals, bar makes amazing drinks, and staff is attentive. You can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful lake, at the outside area. The seating area is comfortable, and the bar area has booths and regular seating, eat drink and enjoy, great atmosphere !

We have made it a point to try fried pickles pretty much wherever I find them. Louie's has some of the best we've found. Spicy Mac n Cheese was better than I expected. The chicken and bacon worked fantastic. It has a nice crunch as well! I recommend the parmesan cheese they have for pizzas and some of the chili flakes if you want it spicier. The prohibition burger is amazing. At this point, it may be the item I get every time. Service wise, we went early on a GameDay, and we were in the bar section. It was difficult to have any of our drinks refilled, and they didn't appear to like bringing coffee. I know the bartenders were all working the entire section. However, they didn't appear to communicate any needs for help.

So Louie’s is a chain short order resturant bar. We went to Lake Hefner to walk and the location for the resturant was perfect. Right on the water. The fried pickles were a good appetizer to start. The beer battered fish (fish and chips) was good. The shrimp over rice was a hit also. Sandwiches were good.

I have to tell a little of the back story to write my review. Originally we had planned to go to Mama Rojas. I have a special need grandson that doesn't have the ability to wait a long period of time. Long story short... my grandson end up having a huge meltdown in the parking lot and we had to find something who was willing to accommodate his special needs. Louie's Grill and Bar Just did that. The waiter was notified that she will have a special need child coming in and we were seated immediately. The waiter made sure she took special attention to his needs and my autistic grandson had a great time there. I can't thank Louie's Grill and Bar enough for the great service provided to us and especially to my grandson. I was heartbroken after we were treated like that at the other restaurant. You guys made up the frustration and gave us a great family time.

First time here and was great food and great service. Food ordered Cheese Pizza was for the kids, but it looked so good that I tried it. Had perfect cook on the crust and super cheesy. The American Burger. The beef patty was well cooked and seasoned. Mushroom and Swiss Burger. Beef patty was well seasoned, and mushroom and Swiss was good. Great place on a nice night to sit outside and have a great view on the lake and lighthouse. Also, it has an outdoor area for kids to run around and play while waiting for food to give the parents some sanity. I will be returning to eat here in the future.
