We ate here this past Sunday. Arrived when they first opened. I was pleasantly surprised. We read the reviews before going. I can see where the atmosphere sets people off. Most Barbeque places look like a dive bar. The floor wasn't dirty, just the way the floor is. It is kind of dark, you definitely see what you are eating or doing.
Now on to the food. I had the chopped brisket sandwich. I thought it was really good. You could take the salt, pepper, and garlic. Not too much smoke, it was there to taste. Needless to say, I ate the whole dang sandwich. That is very useful for me. My husband had the pastrami brisket sandwich. He said it was on point. The brisket in both of our sandwiches was very tender. The sauce was good. The server said they had hot and sweet. I am not a sweet fan. I went ahead and tried it. Wasn't sweet at all. You could taste the pepper, which was good. We had the Mac & Cheese, it had a good flavor. A little on the runny side for me, but I can't expect perfection when I walked in the door at opening.
The server was very friendly. She did a couple of times to ask across the room if we need anything or if everything was okay. I don't consider it rude or lazy. As I said, they just opened the doors. She was busy getting her side work complete to start the day.
We will definitely be back. Next time we are trying a 3 meat platter for variety of meat.
If you are around Bricktown, stop in and see this wonderful small business.

Visited for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon.
Pros:
No crowds around lunch time and the wait staff were down to earth and sweet! (Think of the personality and character of what a mom and pop diner feels like). I went at noon with colleagues.
The decor plays into the small, intimate atmosphere!
Very affordable pricey and the portion sizes weren’t too shabby!
Cons:
While the service is amazing, the parking lot is very small. It’s on the side of the restaurant and if you don’t get a spot you might have to find parking downtown which may be a hit or miss. Not businesses fault, but still listing it for the public.
Since there isn’t enough space, weekend availability or evenings might have a wait time for people.

All in all, I’d still recommend it for people to try! It truly has some personality inside of the space.

Excellent barbecue and service. The restaurant seemed a little dirty but it was a Friday and they may have just been behind on sweeping the floor, etc. Especially loved the barbecue sauce and smoked deviled eggs, which were both unique treats. Definitely the best green beans I've ever had in a BBQ joint. The portions for the two meat combo were huge!

Great barbecue conveniently located in downtown OKC. All the meats were amazing and we tried the smoked deviled eggs with smoked pork butt on top. They were amazing and a great idea. Our waitress was very informative and great at describing what we were ordering.

The best BBQ we've ever had(so far)! We ordered The Boss and the Chicken Fried Steak and ate every bit of it. We will definitely be stopping here again on our way back to Florida this summer. 🙂

Chuck Bibb’s the owner is a true smokehouse master. I’ve seen his work behind the scenes and what goes into the operation to make his dishes and there are no short cuts taken. He even trains other students to learn the trade. I had the brisket sandwich and okra again because I had that last time…it is that good! I also got a little banana pudding for that sweet tooth I’m guilty of having. Mark my servicer, was excellent. He was kind and enthusiastic about the food being served. I’ll spread the word around the office to have others come by!

We first tried bibbs in Norman,OK and had to try the Bricktown OKC location. It was great. Brisket and sausage were the best ever. Sides and sauce were a hit as well. We had great service. Try the strawberry cheesecake!

We have been here before. It's a quiet Bistro during the week, we went Tuesday. We went for our anniversary. The food was spectacular, I had the Scallops and he had the special Snapper. We split the key lime pie, OMG decadent. I really enjoy this Bistro.

We got appetizers and desert. It was all delicious. A bit pricey, but everything tasted great. Very friendly staff, and we were seated promptly without a reservation.

It was wonderful. My date took me there for Valentines Day. They didn't have our reservations, or my date forgot to make one, but didn't hesitate to seat us. The restaurant is beautiful, and the servers are very good. The mixed drinks were done perfectly. The food was amazing. Blues music played lightly in the background. I truly enjoyed myself and I will definitely go back.
