Great food. Great service. 14 taps!! Nice beer selection. This is a place to stop when at Ohiopyle.
Fuel Up. Stopped here for lunch before an afternoon of hiking and exploring. Service was good and food was excellent. We got a chicken burrito and the chicken sandwich (Marylander) - would recommend both. Would eat here again.
Tucked behind Wilderness Voyageurs Outfitters Store on Garrett Street, Falls City is located in a building which could have been constructed as a commercial garage. It’s a bit cavernous and loud and is appointed in a style that could best be described as “Early River Rat”. Grabbing a seat at the bar, I noticed that premium and craft beers were well represented. I ordered the first ale I spied on the draft rail (the name of which escapes me) and it turned out to be a rather unremarkable brew. But even more disappointing was that it was served in a plastic cup. Glancing through the regular menu I found it more ambitious than I would have expected,
Stopped in for lunch with family. Was very impressed with the food the service the atmosphere in the beer selection. Very happy to a found this gem.
If you are looking for a cool place to grab a beer after a long hike on the Laurel Highland Hiking Trail, this is it! So many craft beers on tap and the food is as amazing as the staff! Our favorite waitress, Mandy, makes it feel like home! The nut and berry salad topped with salmon is my favorite along with the bang bang shrimp!
Food was good. Covid19 precautions i place
Dropped in for a take-out order after riding in from Pittsburgh. Got a burger, fries and two beers to go. It was nice that i could buy two beers, not six. The burger was good, wish they had regular cheddar cheese; the bun was pretty big but i love brioche; the fries are house cut but they were soggy and warm, not crisp and hot.
The service was really friendly and i would definitely stop here again, especially in non-covid times. Everyone i saw was following mask and social distancing measures!
The smoked brisket mac and cheese is killer, as are the portabello fries. Plenty of safe outside seating with heaters and a fire ring, inside dining available too. Decent beer selection, especially after a long day on the trail.
Stopped into the Falls City Pub after bicycling in from Pittsburgh. Got the ribs special, and everything was really good! They also did a great job of setting up social distancing, having benches set far apart outside, as well as spaced out indoor seating if you wanted to be inside. Would recommend you stop in and give them your business!
Ate here in August of 2020. We sat on the patio and the employees made sure the seats were dry since it had just down poured. The beer selection was good and the food was tasty. I had the salmon wrap and the mac and cheese. I would definitely come back here.
Well I showed up round 7:30 after a long bike ride, and they were out of a bunch of stuff... 😞. The prices are a little high too, although it is one of 2 places in the town where you can get a real meal, with nothing else around for like 25 mile radius, so they kinda got you by your hanging fruits if you catch my drift...😬. The food is good, and the service was great, and it is family friendly, so if you need a meal after a long day hiking/biking/rafting, it's the place to go!
