This place was incredible. The closest thing to Italian food away from Italy. You could sit here for hours chatting over a bottle of wine and feel right at home. Highly recommended.
Almost everything about our experience here was great. I had linguine with clams and it was hands-down one of the best pasta dishes I've had. The white wine sauce was perfectly balanced and delicious. They did not drown the pasta in it. My wife had the chicken piadina, which was also very good. Kids had the burger and devoured it. All of the deserts were also, fantastic. I had the olive oil cake with apricots and, once again, the balance was perfect. Not too sweet, not to heavy. Delicious.
The service was a little on the slow side and the prices were a little high but it's a tourist spot so both of those are to be expected. We had a great experience and I can easily recommend this place.
It's January and we came here on a Friday so it wasn't too crowded. It's a beautiful, cozy Italian restaurant. I had the Caesar salad and Bolognese. I absolutely loved the Bolognese because the pasta was thin and I think many places make it too thick. The salad was super cold and crispy. Our server was attentive and accommodating. It's a little more pricey and upscale than the other restaurants in the area, but totally worth it.
High quality food and good service. Grilled octopus did not disappoint!! Grilled elk and chicken good. Chocolate caramel dessert was amazing. Highly recommend 🤩
This is a nice restaurant in the heart of Ogunquit on Shore Road. We had the beef ragu, steak frites, and a nice juicey burger for dinner and then blueberry panacotta for dessert. We started the meal with lobster bisque while flavorful, it was too salty for my taste. The ceasar salad had crisp lettuce with crunchy croutons. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the beef ragu was topped with goat cheese which gave it a nice tang. The dessert had to be shared since we were stuffed from our meals. One could tell that it was freshly made.
I really enjoy the Five-o it's so wonderfully cozy especially if your looking for more of a intimate setting but yet friendly and somewhat lively. We were waited on by one of the owners which was nice and the oysters and chowder were very good. I highly recommend this place.
Went there for our anniversary, 7:30 res. Walked in and sat right down. The waitress was great, cute and funny. We had chicken breast over risotto and a Cod special. Both were awesome. Paired with a Cakebread chard. Tables overlook Shore road and are separated by large windows suspended from the ceiling. Lets you have a private conversation. Overall excellent experience start to finish!
