Traveling through Nebraska on a road trip and stopped here for late lunch after reading good reviews. Not disappointed! My patty melt was the best I ever had and they serve real hand cut French fries! Will stop by here again when passing through Ogallala. Great to pass up the chain restaurants for “real” food at a local business.

This place is awesome. I love those mushroom fries. The blue northern is great, and the grilled chicken is beast. They also serve beer! Staff is awesome too. Cook is awesome. You gotta stop in here!

We were visiting from Colorado and gave Open Range a try. It is not a full service restaurant, you order at the counter. But the food is amazing. I had the range burger - it’s a burger with the regular fixings. The beef was fresh, the best burger I have had in a very long time. We had pickle chips, fries, salad, and also the mushroom Swiss burger. The prices were awesome; even McDonalds is expensive nowadays, and Open Range is worth every cent. We would go back!

Stopped in here on the way back from South Dakota. Was recommended by the hotel staff. They were not wrong, from the kids meal to Ruben to the steak salad and burgers and fries. Definitely worth checking out

No more than 5 minutes off I-80 you'll find great burgers and nice salads. Plenty of seating, clean and a nice step up from burger chains. You can choose from at least four different bun styles. We'll be back.

Terrific burgers! Very cool place, great choices and the sweet potato fries are the best we've ever had! It was so good, we ate it all before getting a picture - needed lots of napkins, but that's a good thing 🤪

We started with lemon water. Ordered pickle fries, which were really good. I'm a fried pickle spear girl. And on to bull fries. Yum , and hand cut fries. Our main meal wasn't hot, like our fried pickles, which is a downer for me cuz I like my fries nice and hot. So hopefully they will read this and get the meals out stat. One of our favorite places to eat.

This outdoorsy wooden kind of country building is actually a local restaurant.
I was fooled, I say!!!
Upon entering the long ramp up to the doors, I was eager to see what's inside.
This very spacious, hearty countryside restaurant was extremely unique. There are multiple rooms available for a variety of activities and festivities. If you keep walking all the to the back, they do offer out of doors gatherings.
I would have loved to see the staff more engaging as a new customer with questions about their eatery. Next time, I'm sure. 😉
WOW! I just fell in love with this beefy bacon cheesey burger, and the side items were fried pickles and greenbeans.
The burger was magnificent and beefy. The toppings, tomatoes, pickles, and onions were sliced just right to accent this beefy burger.
The fried pickles and green beans are heavily coated in batter with a delicious flavor, but both items are spicy. I was a little disappointed in the spice level in these two side items. I was not able to enjoy either one of them.
They have many other side items to try, and I will be back to enjoy!
