I really like this restaurant it's no frills just simple good cooking.
Wife and I tried their Reuben omelette (with sides) two days ago for breakfast. It was delicious. Also had a healthy stack of pancakes and eggs. Waitress (Amy) was very pleasant and provided outstanding service. I haven't been there in quite some time, but I think this will be our new go-to stop.
Mexican eggs Benedict YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!!! Its the best thing for breakfast ever. Everytime I come here that's what I get and I am never disappointed. Amy is an absolute delight and my nephew and I love stubbing by to see her. They could definitely put some time into increasing the atmosphere, but I do recommend that you at least give the place a try and get the Mexican eggs Benedict. And the loyal customers are always friendly.
This was your standard ma and pa style diner, just what my girlfriend and I wanted. The food was standard as well - good but not going to blow your mind. They filled our coffee regularly without us having to ask. I asked for hot sauce and the waitress brought me 4 options, which I appreciated. What was exceptional, was their homemade salsa, which the waitress brought me along with the hot sauce, free of charge. It taste like well-spiced bloody mary-salsa, and both my girlfriend and I were impressed with it. Our waitress and the owner were both very polite and friendly when we interacted. Would definitely return if ever back in the area.
A nice "greasy spoon" off of hwy. 16. We came for late brunch and the buffet had been sitting out for awhile. The staff was great and worked hard to accommodate our large group. Would recommend the breakfast here. Very tasty.
I've been here twice and the food was great both times. They never seem to have very many customers though so if you go you'll probably have the whole place to yourself. I think if they spent some time cleaning up the place (especially the outside) that might change but who knows.
