Gator's Dockside

Consider I am comparing this place to similar places like The Ale House, Fridays, Applebee's and Tiajuana Flats as they are like chain sports bar eateries. The service gave it the fourth star. Cleanliness for a Friday afternoon before 2:00, well it let's just say everything felt sticky, even the floor. The food was decent. The burger was good and the fries crunchy. The Ahi Tuna was not very flavorful and seemed like it had been frozen awhile even before the distribution truck delivered it. I had greater expectations from the Tuna. The staff from the guy that greeted us at the door to our server was fantastic, welcoming, warm and polite. That in itself made the atmosphere relaxing. Yes I would recommend this place, but not the Tuna.

I’m new to the area and have been trying various places to find some go-to restaurants. This place is one the top of the list for sure! The chili was extremely delicious. I was full and wanted to keep eating it! The burger was big and delicious, and the fries had some great flavor. I ordered the food using a delivery app, and this was the first of the last 4 places to send me exactly what I ordered with nothing missing. Definitely a place I will be taking out of town visitors for dinner!

Food is always delicious! I always get their lemon pepper wingers (chicken strips), their gyro or the Italian beef 😋 They have a nice menu selection. The only issue I had with this location was the cleanliness. At the top of the day it may have been better but by 9pm, we could tell they've been busy throughout the day.

Staff is friendly and very helpful with food decisions on the menu, it's hard for my 10yr old to make food decisions. We had the nachos which were good and we loved the fish and chips, fried shrimp platter and the Philly cheese steak. It was my first time visiting this establishment but not for my family. I can't wait to come back again and try more entrees.

Wings night. All you can eat at a good price. Many selections of flavors. I was surprised at how good they were considering that they kept serving us quickly. There was a small lull in between the later servings but the hostess was very kind and kept our glasses fresh. I had a great time with my son.

The only reason for the one star deduction was the service when we arrived. We walked in the door to a sign stating Please Wait to be Seated. Not a problem, but after waiting 3-4 minutes with no one even saying hello to us, we decided to sit at the bar; We were greeted immediately and well taken care of from there on. We started off with the fried pickles which are outstanding! I discovered they make a Monte Cristo, and I had not had one in many years, so I went with that and some baked beans. My wife decided on the Winger Wrap with some Mac and Cheese. Both dinners were excellent! Kirsten was a must awesome bartender...very cheerful and attentive.

It was my first time eating here, and I must say I was very pleased. I called in to order and had the pleasure of speaking to the manager Mike who was very courteous. When he found out I was there he personally came downstairs to greet me, and make sure my order was taken promptly. I really enjoyed my Brie and mushroom soup and the drinks were stiff and tasty, just what I needed after a hard days work. I will definitely be back.
