Ok here I go again posting a review for one of my “secret “ go to BYOB restaurants. Situated in Ocean Grove this restaurant is one of my favorites! A fish lovers delight with multiple dishes always on the menu. I LOVE the Long Island duck here! Priced fairly for value, nothing not to like here! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff and accommodations owner!
Went there again last night for our middle daughter’s birthday and our dinner was again EXCEPTIONAL!!!
We stopped by SeaGrass after a nice walk on the beach just down the road.
The food here is definitely upscale, and does not disappoint. I ordered the Duck which came with a unique sauce and it was cooked perfectly.
Our server was great and we sat outside which was nice in the summer evening.
It should be noted that Ocean Grove is a Dry Town, so there's no alcohol on premises, BUT you can bring your own bottle of wine or similar if you'd like!
Good was absolutely amazing. Glad I went with the Halibut. Friend had the Monkfish.
No bar but BYOB, mad we forgot. Will be back again. Convenient location. Nice atmosphere.
Great food .... only thing I tried that I did not like were the mussels .... they were bland, tasteIess awful! Everything else is superb!! Need a better source of mussels and a new recipe involving garlic! My friend said the steamers need a scampi recipe .... they were bland as well.
Stayed in Ocean Grove for a long weekend and went to SeaGrass both nights for dinner. The food is so good here I couldn't get enough! So many options on the menu for a foodie like me. The first night I got the duck breast with raspberry glaze and the burrata salad with arugula. The next night was french onion soup and the east coast codfish. Both meals, especially the duck, were out of this world. So flavorful and very fresh. The service was great too. Even the hostess stepped up and served when things got a little hairy. Outdoor and indoor seating are both available. Definitely a place to check out if in the area.
In a party of 6, there wasn't one thing ordered between appetizers and main course between the 6 of us that wasn't delicious. We all ordered different things and each item was so good! Tuna tartar was so flavorful. Cannot wait to go back!! 5 stars all the way..highly recommend!
I stopped in here after visiting the town for the first time and it was 1 of 2 businesses open on a Monday after 5pm. The restaurant is upscale, and the entree prices reflect that, but the salads are quite large and fairly priced, plus $1 oyster night, meant that I could eat well without dropping too much money. The tiramisu was $8, very large, and the perfect texture. Lauren was attentive and friendly, and gave me some great suggestions for the menu. I'll definitely be back!
This place is wonderful and a gem. The staff and service are exceptional and food is just as good. In addition to the delicious seafood pictured below (ahi tuna), the seasonal lamb pops are mouth watering!
Edit summer 2023: new ownership group (including chef) have made some nice menu additions while keeping the staples. Polenta with my meal was pretty dry, but they quickly swapped it out with their amazing mashed potatoes. The Frenched bone in pork chop was amazing

BYOB, Busy for midweek evening. We were a group of 5 for dinner. Ordered a variety of appetizers which were delicious; especially the fried oysters and the escargots. I ordered the crab bisque which was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal but the only issue came in the risotto dish that was made with long grain rice 😄 Good for Ocean Grove restaurant.
I googled seafood restaurant and found this amazing restaurant in Ocean Grove!!! It was such a wonderful dining experience; quiet setting, outstanding service, friendly staff and exceptional food! We ordered the steamers and were blown away by the taste. Living at the Jersey Shore we have had steamers at many restaurants, but this was by far the very best EVER! They make the steamers in an amazing broth!!! Seriously divine! I ordered the salmon and they served crispy on the top the beurre blanc sauce was to die for!!! After dinner we spoke to the manager Rhonda to compliment her on the wondrous dinner we experienced. What a delightful encounter. She told us her sister is the owner and that their steamer recipe is from Boston which is where they are from and the plentiful portion of steamers was because they are Italian and generous with food. She told us they have been in Ocean Grove for 20 years, since we live nearby we were shocked we never knew about this great restaurant before. The place is romantic, quiet and just top rating. This will now be our go to place. So happy we found you!!! God bless you all for having such a beautiful restaurant in every regard. Even the bathroom was beautiful!!
