Family owned, take out only. Al and his staff are wonderful and treat everyone very nicely. I make sure I stop by every time I come to ocean city. Crab legs are awesome! Also got the soft shell crab, flounder, little neck clams, and crab cakes. It was all very delicious. You must try - don’t listen to any negative reviews people have posted here - all not true.

I don’t normally write reviews but Crab Stop is a hidden gem. We have gotten steamed crabs from a number of places in OC but the crabs here are sweet, plump, fresh and reasonably priced. Al and his family have perfected the carry-out experience and will wrap all of your food so that it’s nice and spill-proof. You can ask for a roll of brown paper for your tabletop, paper towels, crab mallets, butter, etc so that you can enjoy your feast at home (or for us, the hotel :). Their seafood is excellent and so are their sides: clam chowder, steamed corn, potato salad… We have had their crab in the summer and in the fall and the jumbo size is a crab lover’s dream come true. They don’t overdo the old bay seasoning which I truly appreciate, but they can also do it on the side. Honestly, Crab Stop is half the reason we come to OC. Thank you Al!!!

Came to OC for short trip and stumbled on this gem! Ordered crab cake sandwich and soft shell crab sandwich! Both orders were great! Also their cream of crab is great too! Would definitely come back again when I am in town again.

Crabs: phenomenal.
Crab cakes: best, and freshest I've ever had, from NYC to Florida to Japan, these topped em all.
But the real winner if you go here? Customer service. These folks do it right. We ordered here for lunch on our first wedding anniversary. When we got back to the rental we realized we had an issue with our order. When I called did they hesitate? No. Did they say I'll have to come back? No. They brought the correct order straight to us, lightning fast. No complaints, only a smile and an apology. Now that's caring for your customer. I hope these folks stick around a long long time, cause I wanna come back. They made what could have been a bummer into an absolutely winning situation and I wish more places would follow this example.

This place is amazing! My family has been eating crabs from this place on our yearly vacation for almost 10 years. It never disappoints. If you want great crabs and shrimp this is the place to go! 🦀🦐

We order 7 JUMBO crabs, half of which were large and also very light. When I called back the person who picked up said “that’s Mother Nature” and was not going to replace the crabs or refund me the money back for the bad crabs. Please don’t go here to get your crabs. You will be Disappointed.

My very first time visit the store on sunday. The owner and the other lady is very nice person. They even explained since we don’t know much about the crabs😀. And he gave us the bussines card. Family owned restaurant and fresh crab 🦀 cakes not overly seasoned with old bay like phillips and other places.
If you're looking for good food this crab 🦀 cake this place is for you. If want something big and fancy don't go.
Family friendly and good size. Yes, prices are high but it's the same as a movie theater, entertainment prices and crab 🦀 is expensive.
Restaurant is carry-out only during the pandemic.
