Visited Dry 85 twice while in Ocean City last week and it was completely delicious both times! I highly recommend the Lavender Fields of Kentucky is delicious and tastes like a lavender old fashioned. The sazerac was delicious too. Also highly recommend the chicken and waffles too!

You go here for their delightfully selected Burborn and Cocktails..Lack of Vegetarian Entrés in these modern times is holding me back from a fun 5 star rating.. But they do have a Black bean burger which was pretty decent! Their appetizers are very creative and fun..

I’ll start by apologizing that I forgot to take food pics for this review. We were very hungry from a long day swimming and just dove right in! Dry 85 is amazing. I knew from the moment I saw the building that it had extreme potential to be great. And it did not disappoint. The entire building inside and out is spectacular. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. Very fast service for drinks and food. Huge menu of craft cocktails, beer and wine. I had a Manhattan and I can’t describe what my lady had but it was also very good. We started with the Mexican street corn tots, my lady had the bleu cheese and fig burger and I had the chicken and waffles. We shared sides of cheesy grits and their truffle fries. Absolutely everything was so delicious. Unbelievably good. You will not be disappointed with Dry 85 in any way. If you’re in OC definitely hit this place up!!

Arrived here on a Monday evening with a party of 3. We were greeted promptly and sat fairly quickly. Upon being sat our server came over a few minutes later and got our drink order. She dropped off the drinks which were really good, pictured is the whiskey sour. She came back a few minutes later and took our appetizer and food order. The appetizers came out, drinks were finished for a while before she checked back on us. Unfortunately after our food came out and we finished we had to wait some time before she came back over to give us the check. When she finally did come over she took our payment and was gone quite a substantial amount of time before she returned with our credit card. We had plans to be somewhere and gave ourselves plenty of time to eat, leave and be on time but the service didn't make that possible. We understand that she may have gotten busy but the wait after taking our credit card was way beyond what I have experienced anywhere else. As far as the food goes it was fairly good, nothing mind-blowing but the drink selection was exceptional.

Appetizers delicious.. meal disgusting. Has the corn street tator tots very tasty with some spice. Would have loved more sliced jalapeños but that’s just me. Also the fried green tomatoes were good. Combined apps together for interesting taste. The homemade potato chips that came with the meal were tasty - some way to salty! However the meals were disgusting. The black bean quinoa burger was bland, mushy. Tasted like quinoa was cooked in can beans liquid and then mushed together. Avocado was the only good thing on the plate. The crab cake was made of canned soft serve crab not lump as noted. It was a single cake with lettuce and tomato. Nothing special. Tasted the shells in each bite. Menu seemed better than it was. Noticed most people were drinking as that menu was extensive. Would not come back. Super expensive for two apps and two meals with no beverages.

Deliciously fun! From start to finish, from the Greeter at the door to our amazing server, LeeAnn, down to the fabulous bartender who offered to take our picture. An A+ experience. When you're in OCMD, don't miss Dry 85. The Blueberry Ribs are amazing! Cash and cards accepted! Have a blast!!!

Dry 85 aims high and came close but just missed the mark. Excellent service here. I found a terrific beer here too, if you’re into craft beers try the Kentucky ale. Awesome. My friend and I shared two appetizers: the Brussels sprouts and fried green tomatoes. Both came with delicious sauces and reductions but were undercooked. The fried green tomatoes weren’t too bad, you want a little crunch with that, but a few of the Brussel sprouts I could barely get my knife through. I’m grading them hard because if you’re gonna aim high you gotta nail the execution. Fancy sauces and reductions are delicious but veggies gotta be cooked. I would definitely come back and try them again. A lot of potential here.
