We ate breakfast here and we have zero complaints about the restaurant, staff or food. I ate the Seafood Omlette which was loaded with crab meat, shrimp and scallops. Wife got the House specialty creamed Chipped Beef. Very delicious food and nice portions. I believe Millie was our servers name. Very attentive and nice

Not sure a better breakfast can be had in Ocean City for the money. Service was excellent and food was great. My coffee cup was never empty and everyone was very friendly. This was good home cooking and not chain restaurant food. I highly recommend checking this place out!!

What can I say about Generals kitchen that most people don’t know already? This is a standby of the OC area for I believe at least 30 years. They have had two different locations over the years but the food remains amazing and the severs fantastically friendly even though they are usually very busy. Even with all the people visiting you still get your food quickly and the prices and quality is great. We will continue to patronize this location for many years to come. If you haven’t been here please give it a try.

Nice diner. They have a dedication to those who have served and first responders. They get a discount I believe. Food was adequate, portions were fine. Very fast and attentive service. We were there a bit after 11am for breakfast. Scrapple was interesting as it had a sage presence. I liked it. Hash browns were a little dry, probably on the griddle a while, and seemed to have no seasonings. Wife had creamed dried beef and said it was wonderful. Coffee was really good too. Although we are still in the midst of covid, it has been a long time since I had to use ketchup, and salt and pepper packets. Prices were not terrible considering where you are. I give three stars for places that I like but do not make the "I've got to come back here" impression.

Service is terrible. I seen one person be friendly. Drinks are served in paper cups and condiments are disposable. Our see was by a bus cart, there were 3 guys (workers)standing there laughing talking through our entire meal. We had to go find out check, and then when we paid the waitress good our change right out of her pocket. I would not go here again, and do not recommend it.

Found out about this place while driving to Ocean Downs Casino. I pulled up to a red light somewhere along 13 before I got to Ocean Pines South, I rolled down my window and looked over at a man and asked him " if you were to go get breakfast right now, where would you go?" His response was : buddy sure as rain I'd go to Generals Kitchen.
So here am I am enjoying my breakfast ( sausage and ham with cheese add grilled onions omelet ) after riding 3 hours from Virginia Beach before I venture into Ocean Downs.
Truly a remarkable place and solid good comfort food.
