We saw some negative reviews and were a bit nervous that it would be a letdown. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a rainy day, so many other restaurants had closed kitchens closed -- but not Castaway! Natalia, our server, was very laid back and friendly with us. Our food came out SO fast. The steak sandwich was incredible, and the shrimp tacos (though spicy) were delectable. Would recommend.

I hosted a party at Castaway and it greatly exceeded my expectations! The food was so delicious. We had a party of about 20 women and with such a large amount of food I was impressed with how amazing everything tasted. The portions were large and we were so stuffed. Everyone had such an amazing time and we sang and danced as the DJ was playing during our dinner. They even made us personalized menus. I highly recommend having dinner here. Jon is amazing! Our waiter Justin didn’t skip a beat and made sure we were all taken care of and happy. Thank you Castaway for such an incredible experience!

We found castaway by accident. We arrived in time for happy hour. Great drinks, great oysters. The Brussels sprouts are out of this world & the wings were crispy & well seasoned. I hope you are lucky enough to eat here.

Jon and his staff are the best of the best. We held our wedding reception last weekend at Castaway and everything was perfect. Jon was super accommodating, the food was excellent, and the staff, including Kat, Sam, Eric, Justin and Natalie were top notch. No detail was too small for Jon to address. The space is laid out perfectly for a wedding. We loved everything about our experience. xoxo E²

Came here for lunch with my family today and had a wonderful time! Staff was very attentive and helpful. Chef was super accommodating to my wife’s dairy allergy. Great vibes. Great drinks. Order the lemon chicken pita. It is to die for! Will definitely be returning. See you this weekend for your live bands! Thanks castaway!!

Castaway is a great restaurant. They had a loud but not bad band playing live music, good vibe, good drinks, and the food was good. However if you go for dinner beware. The food is good but the chef LOVES pepper. I’ve been here twice, ordered a chicken pasta in 2021 and mahi mahi sandwich in 2022 (the menu changes so that’s a fun surprise 😄👍🏽) and both times the food was peppered to all hell. Chef thinks you can only blacken/char the food if you cover every inch with black pepper. The food was still good but please do a little less with the black pepper chef 🙏🏽. Much love
