Excellent late lunch here after a couple hours exploring the town. We had mussels with fries. Our mussels were in a garlic cream sauce with brandy and mushrooms. Perfectly cooked and delicious. The fries were also excellent. So good we got a second order! And the mayo with the fries was phenomenal.
Visited around 5:30pm with a party of 3 for dinner. We were quickly seated outside on the patio area - I should note that if you're easily bothered by bugs and the like be aware they are a presence when the weather is nicer.

We had the pumpkin soup (soup of the day), champignons mussel pot and the steak & brie. We really enjoyed the pumpkin soup, we highly recommend it! We enjoyed the mussels as well, however the brandy in the broth was abit too strong for us. The steak & brie was good, but not remarkable.
This is a wondrous magical marvelous little restaurant. Everything we ordered got better and better. The mussels Provencal is fantastic. The pate was the real deal. Earthy and rustic - if the lifeforce or "Chi" was edible, it'd be Cock and Bowl's country pate.
