I can’t wait until autumn because the first “not so hot” day of the year means hungry bear season has begun! Sure you can always get it to go, but I believe Hungry Bear is best enjoyed when it is hot and fresh on their little tiny picnic table while people exiting the drive-through stare at you. My fiance and I ate here for burgers, fries, and a shake. The burgers were tasty, juicy, REAL old fashioned ground beef... Like the kind you got in an old school drive in with your grandparents in the 60's. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They could school others on how to do it. We shared a small mocha shake, which was hands down the best shake I've had in decades. No atmosphere because it's an old school drive in with one window for ordering, and on for pick-up.
BONUS: They will celebrate 50 YEARS in this same location in December!!
Bottom line: Go today and get you some delicious drive in burgers and fries with a perfect milkshake, served by the friendliest folks around. Let's keep this one in business, folks.

If you want a good tasting, old fashion burger that actually uses real meat. You best drop on in. I mean, drive thru. I really enjoyed it. Will be back!

We brought a blanket set out in the grass by the railroad track and had our lunch...
I would have gave him a five-star had they had onion rings..
The burger is real meat not some patty that came from some manufacture that they throw on the grill... I usually don't do mayonnaise on my burger but I want the way they do theirs...I went a Grandpa bear with cheese.. It was a decent burger with mayonnaise and I can't say I've ever said that before..
Corn nuggets & fries were awesome, as well as the hot ham and cheese... Childhood memories came flooding back...

Surprisingly good! A friend of mine had told me about this place! It has a small drive through and some outdoor seating. Good quality food. They have hot dogs and burgers. I'd recommend! They're also convenient!
