This place is AWESOME for a single guy (driver) that has no idea how to cook. They gave me all the advice that I needed to eat the meals I bought there. The staff was amazing. GOD BLESS their son whose a brother firefighter. Thank you so much for your help. I'll stop back the next time I'm in Ocala. That's guaranteed since I don't know how to cook. I said to my husband if we ever won the lottery, I would like to have a private chef! Then bingo! We found doing dinner and the food is so delicious. In the container, The portion looks small, but it's really a lot of food when you put it on your plate. My favorites are cajun chicken pasta & pot roast. Their chili is great too. My husband loves the pot roast, jambalaya & the salmon, and broccoli cheese & rice.Reasonably priced, Food is nutritious. and not too salty, so we're happy about that. Thank you, Rick, Mary and staff. For providing this wonderful service!

What a pleasant surprise this place was. Our neighbor recommended this place to us, and since we were in the area, we decided to give it a try. They had decent prices, a good selection with quality ingredients. Since we are tired of cooking but unfortunately we are not tired of eating, we will definitely be back. Our compliments to the chef.

I heard about this place from one of my clients. I gave her a ride so she could try it out with out committing to the min $50 order. First this place is super clean. No dust anywhere out front. They have a large refrigerator and freezer set up where you can grab your meals yourself. Under $7 for individual meals and about $12 for family. The quality of the meal is very high. So far ive tried the chicken enchiladas and the Jumbalaya. Both were so good! Super fresh and generous portions. It's more food than the individual Publix meals and easier to vook to. These you pop in the microwave since they are already fully cooked. I am swayed. I will be placing a weekly order from here on out.

Love, love, love this place!! as a first time mama, I needed some help with weeknight dinners. So glad I stumbled across this place… They have little single meals which are great for a quick lunch or dinner for me… And they have family meals that are great for two people. I believe they have these meals that are larger, and you just have to call in advance. They keep a big selection of trays frozen and ready to go so great for last minute.. other than that you can order an entrée off the menu I believe with 24 hour notice. So far we have tried the Cajun pasta and the chicken enchiladas which are two thumbs up from my boyfriend and I!! The apricot chicken is served over quinoa as a healthier option and I loved this one more than my boyfriend. So far, nothing has disappointed!!

If you have not tried their food you owe it to yourself to go and try their meals. When they say homemade they mean homemade. I am not a big fan of takeout or frozen meals, BUT their food it truly delicious and very filling. Please, don’t take my word for it and go try it yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Super nice folks providing easy to prepare meals at reasonable prices!
We used a gift certificate we received as a gift and got a TON of food for the money. Each prepared meal has instructions, which is important as you can prepare then from bring frozen or thawed.
My wife and I can highly recommend the Meat Lasagna Roll Ups and I am a big fan of the red beans and rice. I was a little wary at first as it can be tough to get meals like this that taste good, but I am now a believer.
Definitely stop in and give them a try.

Everything we have tried is yummy 😃. Been very helpful after having surgery, you can be assured your getting a home cooked meal. Going camping, a good home cooked meal without spending all your time cooking and doing dishes and if you just don't feel like cooking after a long day. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. Brownies are good too!

It was just by chance that we heard about your dinners. We tried one and thought Wow that was very good. We put in a large order as we are 4 family members and everyone loved the home cooking taste and the fair price. Not only does it save a lot of time but with covid 19 happening it’s great. We will be trying all the meals and the brownies are sinful. Cookies too. Thanks for your food presentation and love the family meals too.

As I See It: I met Rick after he arranged to feed at least 500 people in an over-55 community after Hurricane Frances. They had no power or water for 5 days. He fed them after only a couple of hours’ notice! Now he makes wonderful frozen meals to go that are reasonably priced and healthy. He cooks them fresh; no preservatives, and you either pop them into your freezer for later, or the microwave when you’re ready to eat. They are MREs for civilians. HEALTHY ones, and they are super tasty! Order $50 worth,and they will deliver them. Most are under $6 and they are a very gerous size.

I arranged for dinner for 96 people at a Valentine's Dance. I arranged for two dishes to be served, beef and chicken with sides. The food was delivered on time,. We were shown the correct portion to complete the dinner. Food was hot, delicious and plenty. I will definitely use them again!!

I've tried six meals from Doing Dinner and they were all fantastic! So satisfying and delicious, plus perfectly portioned for the single serving. Their prices are very fair and much cheaper than what I would spend at any fast food restaurant. In all six dishes, my favorite part was the vegetables. I don't know how they do it, but the vegetables are perfectly cooked, never too mushy, and full of fresh flavor. I personally hate peas and never cook with them, but ate the servings included in my meals. To my surprise, they were awesome! Just the right texture and a farmers market fresh flavor. Would highly recommend!!
