Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

We got there at 3 PM on a Saturday after going to two festivals, hungry and exhausted. Started off with two bar drinks that came in quickly and ordered the honey butter 🧈 croissants 🥐 … which are always yummy and the first helping is on them. Do yourself a favor and at least try them. They remind me of Hop’s Steakhouse for those who have been here a while in Ocala (it’s closed now, but was the best). We washed that down with a burger and buffalo chicken wrap. I had the wrap and it was just ok. Didn’t really taste like much but I got a report that the burger 🍔 was cooked properly and tasted great. The portions were great and the food does the trick. We took half of it home because there is more than enough to eat. My son got dinner out of it. Plenty of parking and there was no wait this time, probably because of when we were there. It’s usually packed. Our server was Dianna and she made plenty of recommendations and was very knowledgeable of the menu and drink items. Ask for her. You won’t regret it.

The most recommended 100 percent is the crossant that is served when you arrive, the food we ordered in terms of the chicken sandwich is not the bread that is seen on the menu and the hamburger was served very burnt and the cookie dessert is not Just like what you see on the menu, it also took about an hour and when the food arrived it was lukewarm, I understand that the Waitress had a lot of work for herself. If there was another waitress helping her, the service would be faster.

Simply outstanding. The service is stellar, the food is perfect and all the employees make your dining experience a pleasure. This restaurant sets the bar for places to eat at, it is my #1 choice to eat at based on price, taste and service. I had the Monte cristo Sandwich and Buffalo shrimp also a Bloody Mary and an unsweet tea for my meal.

Had a great dinner at Cheddar's. I had the bourbon glazed Salmon over rice with a loaded baked potato. I opted for a house salad as one of my two sided. I must say the salad was an excellent choice, it was very well appointed and served with homemade dressing. Wife had T-Bone steak and said it was delicious.....it was, I had a bite. Our server was helpful and attentive. Great dinner night out, will return when in Ocala
