Plenty of staff always on the ball. Rita was an excellent waitress. Ten out of ten. Will ask for her next time. Food was fresh and hot and plentiful. Mongolian hot bar was cooking all orders. No waiting. A bit crowded as always but I arrived at 12:20 , to be fair. Loved eating here and brought 12 veterans with me.

Great stop. Out 1st time in We were seated quickly and off.. most things we tried today were really pretty good. The muscles were great. I enjoyed a good amount of what I tried. I did not like the chicken wings. The one I tried did not taste like it was fresh. We were there early, so maybe it was a leftover rewarmed from the day before? IDK. Anyway, I didn't eat those. The wait stuff is incredibly efficient. Our server did a great job.. :) I think it was a good enough experience that we will try it again sometime.

Not usually a buffet fan. But there is something about this place I really like. It's all Asian dining choices in one place. They have really good simple sushi and the hibachi grill is great for creating exactly what you want. But all the traditional dishes are available too! All three times I've been there food has been hot and fresh. Friendly happy service and clean. 👍☺️

We're new to Ocala, and one of our top dining priorities was to find a good Chinese buffet. Search is over, as Ocean Buffet definitely fills that spot for us. Restaurant is kept clean, and the food has been hot and delicious every time we have visited. Staff is attentive, and very friendly. Incredible food variety with great pricing. They also have sushi and hibachi. They give a senior discount price for those of us in that age group. Parking lot can be a bit tight during their busy times, so keep your head on a swivel for people backing out of their spots.

I am not the biggest fan of buffets, only because I do not eat a great deal & at most restaurants wind up carrying half or more of my meal home. That is great as I don’t mind leftovers! But, of course, at a buffet that is not an option, sooo. The hubby loves Ocean Buffet so off we go. Now, you are able to order off a menu if you choose, but enjoying variety I opted for the buffet along with him. They really do a good job of service here….right to table & then drink ordered & you are off & making your selections. The food tables are kept very well, cleaned constantly & items are continuously refilled so very fresh. A selection that would have to please most people! The sushi bar presents a nice variety and there are many options available if you choose the grill. It can be a bit loud at times because it is so popular & tends to be busy.

Greatest buffet, both price wise and food. Fantastic food choices with the amount of great seafood and other delicious choices like sweet and sour chicken, sushi, or salmon and shrimp. Plus does desserts right with some simple ice cream and mini cakes or pudding to end off the meal. I really highly suggest going here because every visit I go here, no issues or faults of food quality or service has ever happened when I'm here. Will definitely suggest to peers and friends about this amazing place.

We had our first meal at the Ocean Buffet in the beginning of July, 2023. The name kind of suggests it's a seafood restaurant. But we found out before we went that it was a Chinese food buffet. That didn't matter because we like them as well. Plus it would probably be less expensive than a normal seafood buffet. We went early and had no problem being seated right away. First thing I noticed on the way to our table was a nice water wall/fountain inside the building near the entrance. But it looked like there was an issue with it. The water level was very low and there were chairs blocking the wall/fountain. We found the food to be hit or miss depending on what it was. Some items were pretty good, others okay, and some not so good. Obviously tastes differ. So what I like, may not be what you like and such. So I will not begin listing what we liked or wasn't crazy about. The staff were always pretty quick to clean the dishes from the table. The restaurant seemed clean from what I could see. But I really wasn't looking. Parking was better than it looked when pulling in. There was ample parking around the building and in the back. The cost of dinner for us was Approximately $14 per person. (again, this was July, 2023) We had soft drinks, so they were less than $3 each. The total bill with taxes was less than $36, plus tip. Considering it's an all you can eat buffet, some folks will find that quite reasonable. All in all, it was not the best buffet we have ever been to. It's also not the best food we have ever had. But they are decent and at a decent price. So I feel it's worth trying. I'm sure we might be back when in the area again.

This was our first visit here. We went on Father's Day and the price was a little bit more than average at 17.99 per person. Overall the food quality is decent for a buffet. I was quite shocked to see crawfish there on the buffet. They have plenty of different options. But I did not see any type of macaroni and cheese which is typical for any buffet. That would have been the only downfall for me. Although I have to admit that the desserts left much to be desired. Very lackluster and underperforming. Overall the staff was very helpful. We did enjoy our experience but some of the food was just too bland and meant to be more of filler items on a buffet that lacked much of any taste.

Buffet was good the name is a bit deceiving thought it was a Seafood Restaurant instead it was a Chinese Restaurant which I love Chinese Food the buffet was 11.99 $ drinks are 3$ more . Was fresh and clean Not Handicap friendly when entering the Restaurant, has handicap parking was super busy lucky we got a three person table . Off of 200 bad traffic but the restaurant food is super good the employees were very friendly and helpful .
