Providence Bar & Eatery

We sat at table in bar area. Waited for bartender for 10-15 minutes to notice us. She never did. I walked over to kitchen area and grabbed menus. A young server apologized. The young waitress walked over and said the bartender can take our order, I told her the bartender hasn’t acknowledged us or taken our drink order. The waitress took our order. Bartender made our drinks when she received order, set them on serving tray, and put them on back counter for waitress! Still not asking us if we wanted drinks. Kudos to the young waitress (reason for one ⭐️) but the customer service at this establishment is nothing to be desired.. I thought it was bartending 101 ‘scan the room’! And at least try to smile, even a fake one is better than a scowl.

Terrible experience bartender cut me and my friends off after 3 measley shots saying we had too much to drink we literally thought it was a joke until she told thr other bartender not to serve us anymore definitely won't be coming back and will be telling others not to come here & the food was so bad I wouldn't even give it to my dog

Eclectic; sort of a dive bar feel but the staff (owners?) really brought a positive feel. We walked in with a group of eight intending to just have a beer and a private conversation. We got pulled into Thursday night trivia and insulted repeatedly, but in a good way. Yeah that sounds a bit odd but it felt like a friendly place that you could hang out with friends (that met you there or that you met there for the first time). I would definitely go back.
