Good service, great food. We tried the pineapple pancakes and the hobo omelette and they were very good. The steel cut hash browns were excellent and different than I've ever had before. The server was quick to come back to check on coffee refills and anything we needed. We'll definitely be going back!
My first time at this location and was very pleased with the whole experience !! Really nice wait staff and hostess. Good menu with some delicious alternatives for low Cal breakfast if that is what you desire. I thought the menu and prices were very reasonable overall. Our food was all good !!!!! Definatly will be back !!
We went around 9 a.m. and received excellent customer service from Olivia. It wasn't too crowded and they have glass dividers up between booths. All employees were wearing a mask. We were served around 9:25 a.m. which was about 15 min after placing our order. The food was good and table was clean. Overall, good experience. Minus one star for the small parking lot.
This is by far the best blackbear diner I’ve ever been to. The staff was absolutely amazing everyone was so happy and so nice to me and my family that I’m still amazed. The food is absolutely perfect the portions are huge and definitely worth every penny. By far the best place to go to in Oakley must go there if you haven’t. The manager was super nice you can tell she was very involved in the restaurant walking around checking on the tables. This place feels like home.
Pancakes we're pretty decent for pancakes but the waitress did not upsell the plate with fruit which I could not find in menu, was a first-time customer and waited quite a long time for the food we ordered. My family is diabetic and I am reactive hypoglycemic so was hungry when find finally arrived but like I mentioned, it took a while before they even took our order. Four stars I guess. Kind of nice place. Nice people. Looked sort of familiar, been to the black bear diner in south lake Tahoe.
The shop or store is very cute very clean the staff is very attentive professional and very nice the food was OK it did lack a little bit of flavor but I definitely would go back. We did get lunch so it might be this is more of a breakfast place other than lunch or dinner. Overall we did have a great visit thank you Oakley's black bear diner.
It’s our first time to eat @ black bear Diner here in Oakley , we just moved in from Alameda.
I must say, the staff are awesomely respectful , the food is amazing. I highly recommend to my friends who also just moved in here in Oakley as well.

If we want to have a good breakfast or dinner Black Bear has always been our go to place because its near our house. I should look up the pictures of my kids from when they are babies up to now eating in black bear. 😁
