Wilde Brothers

I've been to Wilde Brothers a few times now and it's a great coffee shop. The first time I came here, I got a mocha, like a I do and it was great. I always miss their "Specials" board, which is to the far left corner of the cafe. It's easy to miss since it's nowhere near their regular menu. I always get upset when I see it after I've made my order, but no hard feelings! I've been happy with what I have ordered. This is also a cafe where you kind of just want to grab and go. There's no indoor seating and nowhere to really stand to enjoy your drink, but there's a few seats outside. But since they are in a good location, there's plenty to see in the area so it's probably best to just take your order to go. Yesterday, I did try the OG mochi muffin. OMG life changing!!! I've been thinking about it since. They have other flavors too and I am looking forward to trying them all.

Simply fantastic! I had a latte and it was easily one of the best I've had in the Bay Area - on par with, or in my opinion better than, Blue Bottle, Four Barrel, Sight Glass, Ritual, etc etc. Edwin, a specialty barista with 15yrs experience was flown in from Australia (Aussies take coffee to a different level) to set the standard and train employees. Emerald a previous Blue Bottle barista trainer is also on staff. There's limited seating, so no place to work - you come here for one thing and one thing only, the best coffee you're going to find in Oakland & The Bay, and perhaps a delicious pastry. Looking forward to my next coffee!
