Review Taqueria La Mejor - Oakland

Been coming here for years and love the food as well a the friendly ladies taking your order. I get tacos and burritos and love them both. Fave is the Chile Verde baby burrito - for $5 you get a smaller version of a super-burrito that won't leave you questioning why you tried to eat the whole thing. Be warned, at lunch there is a line of construction workers out the door. They are still super-quick getting orders ready though.

I heard about this restaurant on an internet article regarding best eateries in the East Bay. I really like the chile verde wet burrito they serve here, its authentic that's why I dont mind making that 20 minute trip from Richmond to get good food here👍😋

Hardworking Mexican women prepare basic Mexican food. They are fast, reliable, and friendly. Moderate price, decent quality.

I give this taqueria/restaurant a 5 star because the employees are friendly and nice. Also they got fresh meat with no fat in it. The tacos are ok but the quesadillas are real good tortas are great too. The seating well it's a small place maybe 3 tables to sit and eat. But if you want it go they can do that. Parking is tight. The place is off 580 high street exit location is good also. Yes I will come back to this place for quesadillas and tortas I love a clean place and clean good tasting carne asada pastor etc.

Love this place, it's a lil hole in the wall, but the service and food are awesome. I've had a variety of items here and I've loved every one. Everything is fresh and made to order. Its not over priced, and like I said its very tasty. 👌

EXCELLENT food, AWESOME service. I've been going here 1-2 times a week for the last year+ and highly recommend this local spot. My go to order is the baby burrito w/ pollo and two red salsas...all the burrito you need and only $5! Right off of 580 on High St. for anyone on the go!

My mom and I got food poisoning after only eating part of our burritos from this restaurant.
