I’ve been to Luis’s for breakfast several times now. Their omelettes are cheesy and full of the ingredients of your choice. I highly recommend the hash. Don’t forget to put some house sauce on your breakfast for a kick that is out of this world. Every time I am in Oakland I do my best to make it out to Luis’s Coffee Shop.

They took 20 mins to toast 2 pieces of bread, put two slim slices of turkey in the grill to heat up them slap a COLD single piece of cheese and called that a GRILLED TURKEY & CHEESE SANDWICH!!!! The cheese wasn't even melted. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN!!!!

Been coming to this place for years. I love them. Family owned serving comfort food. I love the salmon croquettes. They are willing to make you anything you want. Sit at the counter and watch the magic happen.

Solid local, old-school diner. Eggs like you'd expect from a greasy spoon. Classic. Maybe not deeply cleaned in a few years but still pretty good vibes. We'd go back. Be prepared, however, it took easily 20-25 minutes for our food to arrive.
