I ordered the rice platter. It was my first time having this kind of food and it was so good… the staff was friendly and I felt welcome. The rice and chicken was perfect spice not to spicy. I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in Oakland again

A small shop but the Afro-Caribbean fare is tasty, and the proprietor is friendly. The flavor of my jollof rice was strong and with a touch of spice and the plantains is a perfect combination with the rice.

FRESH….NOT FROZEN… come and eat!!! This is the best place in town for Nigerian food. The owner is super kind. The food is well prepared and will keep you full. The ambience is like walking into the world and aroma of Nigeria itself. Fill your mouth with joy and love, and come rest at Jolly Jolly.

We read the good reviews and decided to try the jollof rice with ox tails. We were a little disappointed that the ox tails were mostly bones with very little meat, BUT everything was very flavorful and good quality. It was delivered in a timely manner to our 18 wheeler, which was appreciated. We definitely recommend this place!

Amazing Nigerian food; I got the moi moi lentil cakes that came with a small side salad, medium spicy and it was all vegan. Very tasty and filling. The owner is real nice and queer friendly. It is right across from the west Oakland Bart station.

Wow 🤩 is all I can say! So on 03-08-2022 me and my youngest kin came to the Jolly Jolly Nigerian coffee and kitchen restaurant and omg ok
1. Customer service was on point, very happy respectful, friendly and patient ❣️❣️❣️
2. The food was made fresh I told the young men to take their time no rush.
3. The food was so amazingly good yummy so fresh not over cooked the flavors were all there, the food was so good I ate my food outside in the parking lot and I am still in the parking lot writing this review.
Me and my youngest kin absolutely recommend this beautiful restaurant you will not be disappointed I wish them nothing but success we need more restaurants like Jolly Jolly me and my youngest kin love Nigerian food/ Caribbean foods we just absolutely love this restaurant wish we knew about it sooner. For now on this is our go to restaurant and the portions are amazing they are not cheap when it comes to making your plate and the prices are reasonable the portion size and price work together so I don’t mind! And I will be posting a yelp review. Jolly Jolly is the best around hands down...very Authentic original Nigerian cuisine.

My family and I have been coming to eat here for a little over a year now. Every time we come the food is consistent and taste better and better, we always order the Jollof rice with goat and plantains. I highly recommend this place for the fresh quality food and delicious flavorful authentic African food. Try it you won’t regret it .
