The Posh Bagel

I remember when this place opened years ago. I went in and had a bagel once. That was it. Worst, most doughy, toughest, most overly chewy bagel I ever had and I've had bagels everywhere from Boston to Baton Rouge and I would not recommend. I can't believe they've managed to stay open all these years except that the people of Piedmont have become so stoned all the time that they don't care what they eat, anymore.

Am I being too tough on Bay Area bagels? Absolutely. But when we start sacrificing our standards how can we look ourselves in the mirror in the morning? Bagel had average to above average size/taste but the everything seasoning was pretty subpar and the lox spread nothing to write home to New York about but they do put a respectable amount on the bagel at least. Had high hopes for this place considering its proximity to my home but Beauty’s still holds the neighborhood crown. Most likely will not come back and would not recommend.

I have received over toasted bagels here and at other locations only Fremont location did not overtoast the solution they need extra toaster they set lower because onion and garlic bagels get over toasted & slightly burnt they only use one toaster it works well for everything except garlic and onion bagels complained to corporate about it otherwise I like posh bagels & appreciate the hard work of their employees they as a company just need to fix this

Very pleasnt experience Limited parking, some public parking requiers payment (quarters) Small, cozy. Affordable. Multiple drink options from hot and cold to Coffe or tea. I got fresh orange juice and my companion had a hot chocolate. Orange juice fresh and hot chocolate was light and well balanced. Menu rangers from all you can think of that goes well with bagels and break fast. Make sure to get there early because it will get busy. I had an excellent customer service. Never felt rushed, was always helpful with answering questions. Maybe it could of been a bit faster with the amount of people that were waiting but you cant complain when the bagel is well toasted and ham and cream cheese was well balanced to perfection...but that bread was toasted so finely
