Great little dinner in Oakland. Definitely be careful out side, take your items and hide them. But once you get inside. And order. The food was actually pretty good! The coffee was delicious . And the breakfast was good. Definitely a great late night spot. Go check it out.

This an amazing hidden gem. Great place for breakfast, lunch and early dinners. Full bar. Best brandy Alexander in the bay .. well San Leandro! Excellent staff. Clean bathrooms. Great place to take whole family mostly grandparents will love it. Old fashioned favorite haunt. The pies are not bad either.

It is a good place to eat for both American and Mexican food. They are now open for indoor dining from 9:00 am until 3:00 am daily. Love their pancakes, omelettes and steak breakfast. It is located by Park Blvd bridge in 23rd Ave in Oakland behind 7-eleven store with plenty of parking in their parking lot.

I finally stopped in for breakfast after passing by this place for past 20 years.
I had french toast with sausage and scrambled eggs.
Not only was it done in a very short time, it was delicious and cooked absolutely perfect!
I was so impressed I wanted to call and compliment the cook, but was on the run, so I figured I would do it now that I have the time.
In fact I'm going to go there now and try something else!

This place was recommended by a trusted family member. No bueno. When I walked in the door there was an off putting smell. The diner is 60 years old, I gave it the marinated benefit of the doubt. The decor definitely spoke 60 years. The young lady who greeted us was friendly. It took a moment to have our orders taken, but there was only one person waiting tables. I was very tempted to leave, but wanted to give them a try. I watched as another table seemed to enjoy their food. So hope was alive. Boy was I mistaken. The pork chops dry not seasoned, hash browns tasted as if they were cooked on a grill that had not been cleaned in at a month. They mixed my husband and my order hash browns v home potatoes when they fixed it in the back for some reason my over medium eggs came back with half the egg whites missing. I'm going to leave it at that and just say say my first and last visit. .

The food and service have been good each time I went. I enjoy seeing this sign hanging on the wall.

Service is terrible here and the food quality is low. They are frequently out of many items on the menu.

The potatoes seemed over done, just like the steak. It all tasted like reused frying oil, and none of it ever glimpsed at a napkin or paper towel to soak the grease. If you ask me, two out of three were reheated, but the eggs were freshly made.
They did offer to remake my steak, but I've eaten over cooked steak before, no need to waste. They also didn't charge for the coffees to make up for the steak. The lady was very kind and the service was good.
