Woody's Cafe

Good, honest coffee shop. Doesn’t need the trendy, bougie feel so many cafes now go for. Good coffee, nice menu for food, and really cool staff who have fun with each other and their customers. There’s also a couch (pictured below) Environment is awesome for getting some work done on the laptop. Just remember to go with a full charge on your battery — very few power outlets. Woody’s always gives me good vibes. Very well run neighborhood cafe.

They were out of croissants which was lame but understandable at 2 pm if they make them fresh each day. I got a bagel instead and it was delicious, so was the matcha latte. Hubby got a yummy club and a decent strawberry smoothie. Minus a star because of how expensive it was. They actually charged me an extra $1.25 for oatmilk instead of reg milk on top of the almost $6 they charged for a very small cup that wasn't even all the way full. Overall the food was great, high quality and made well, but way overpriced. $30 plus tip for basically a snack and drink for my husband and I.

Ive tried countless times to give this coffee shop a chance because I understand it's a mom-and-pop styled Cafe. Well I have now officially giving up on this Cafe as every time I place my order there's always some sort of issue. Weatherby being overcharged for my coffee on countless occasions or overcharged for the wrong sandwich or even given a sandwich with topping that I'm allergic to that I distinctly ask not to be in there. Just happened multiple times and the cost for the service here is a bit steep for the level of attention they're giving to each order. Not to mention a croissant and coffee took a half hour to make

Everything a neighborhood coffee shop should be. The folks that work here are friendly and there's a real sense of community with the regulars and locals that come in. Great pastries, great coffee (and they have an actual light roast!), free wifi for customers, really lovely seating inside. I like to go for a cup of tea while doing my laundry next door, or anytime I wake up too late to make breakfast at home. The world needs more places like this.
