A remarkable selection of mostly European and California natural (organic) wines that you won't find any where else in the Bay Area. And a charming bar with wines by the glass. We ordered a cheese plate and I had an incredible sparkling white from the same region in Italy that produces Prosecco. Wow. On a beautiful, warm Saturday in Oakland near Lake Merritt we sat outside and had a mini vacation experience.

It's not too dark inside, and it's mellow enough to get documents signed, which is what I was doing. Bartenders were attentive because there was actually a sufficient bartender to customer ratio so that I never had to wait long for anything. It's not the cheapest happy hour in the city at all, but they have a pretty legit beer selection. Some of the beers, I've only had in other countries / at the World Expo in 2010. I don't think the menu on their website is an exhaustive list.

My favorite wine bar period. Best selection of old world natural wines in the US probably. Fun vibe, cool space. Crowd can be kind of vibey and weird but otherwise this place rocks.

Love the eclectic and cozy atmosphere. Great for intimate conversations. Ofc the wine is great all around... the cheese/meat platter is also delish!

Not the best wine bar I’ve been to, the selection seemed small and the staff seemed not as knowledgeable about wine as I thought they would be. For example, I asked to be given wine that was light and fruity and instead got a wine that I swore could be a flat sour beer. They don’t have heat lamps so bring a warm jacket if you plan on sitting outside and it’s a chilly evening. Lastly, this could just be me but isn’t all wine “natural” wine? If not, please educate me! Awesome spot to get your natty wine fix and great selection from around the world. Cool looking spot and some nice little benches outside to sip your wine on the sidewalk. A perfect spot for a wine date if ya ask me!

Not sure if I need the entire wine selection to be “natural wine”. I’d prefer the wines to have a wider variety of tasting notes other than vinegar or salad dressing. Also a corkage fee at a wine bar is kinda ridiculous. Isn’t it expected that your customer is going to buy a bottle of wine at a wine bar?
