Tomanetti's Pizza

For this area the food is great! I'm reading a lot of reviews from people expecting NY perfection pies... You're in Oakland, MD - Appreciate the rarity of a solid pizza when there aren't many options. We moved here from the Baltimore area. East Coast family, we know good pizza. We've ordered takeout pies from every place including Deep Creek Lake area (Brenda's/Uno's is better, but also much further away). We're in Terra Alta and have had Tomanetti's 3 times in the past couple months, they're hands down the best around here. (Speaking to the pizza not the staff as we've never eaten in-house). Whoever's in the kitchen has impressed us 3/3 times. We're nerds and get the Garden Veggie on Cauliflower crust. If you don't know - that's *incredibly hard* to make crispy without being burnt or soggy. Veggies are mostly water, and cauliflower crust is prone to overcooking. I'll even put a timestamp on our most recent order to give credit where it's due: Saturday Sept 24th around 8pm. Whoever made our pie - delicious as always, keep killin' it in there!

We LOVED being at Tomanetti's! We ate on the patio, but the indoor space was very nice and well-decorated - a true Italian restaurant feel. The patio was nice and relaxing. Our waitress was very kind, and the food was amazing! The portions are very big, so be ready to eat or take home leftovers! We got the chicken parmesan, and the marinara was nicely done. We also got the crab ravioli, which was delicious as well. The salad and freshly baked bread were great side dishes. The location is great and not far from the local park, so we were able to walk around after dinner. We will definitely be back at Tomanetti's!
