Review Deep Creek Uno Pizzeria & Grill - Oakland

The food here was absolutely amazing. There was 5 of us that dined in and we cannot wait to go back! Our waiter, Justin, went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience here. He was awesome!! All of us agreed that we had, by far, the best service all weekend, at Unos. By the way, the buffalo chicken mac and cheese was out of this world!

I took my family of four to Uno Pizzeria & Grill on a busy Saturday afternoon around 3pm on January 28th, 2023. The restaurant is located right on Deep Creek lake on the main street (219) about a three miles south of Wisp resort. There restaurant is large and has round table and booth seating with a nice bar near the front side. There is also an outdoor seating area and a lot of space to walk around in warmer seasons. We were greeted by a hostess and seated almost immediately. Once seated we were sitting about 15 minutes before we had to pull a waitress over and ask where our server was. About a minute later the manager came over and apologized for the wait and took our order on the spot. A waitress stopped at the table after and asked if we needed anything. Our food came out about 15 minutes later. I had the Chicken Cheesesteak and my family ordered the Honey Chicken Salad, and single pizza and a kid sized pizza. All of the food was prepared well and tasted great. The check came and we saw that they took 50% of the total of the bill. We were pleasantly surprised that they acknowledged our bad experience and turned it into a good one. I didn't get the name of the manager that was working at the time but I would like to personally thank her for going out of her way to make our dining experience better. I would highly recommend this location as they provide excellent customer service and the food is very good.

Loved this restaurant. Gluten-free menu options are available, and our server was very knowledgeable about dishes and cross-contamination risk. Our server, Jade, was also very attentive and went above and beyond for us! The food was very good and came out hot! Gluten-free pizza crust was one of the best crusts I've ever had (been gluten-free for 16 years). Picture of my gluten-free pizza added!

We loved the atmosphere in the evening. Very dim and cozy. However, I think they forgot our personal pan pizzas in the oven as they were basically charred on the top. Service was great and the prices were average for the area.

Facilities- design & layout are open, but not noisy. I found the atmosphere welcoming and very well lit (visit was late afternoon). Cleanliness- very clean Staff- our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and timely Food- literally one of the best burgers I've had. (Maryland Burger) Perfectly cooked, firm yet tender, very flavorful, but not overpowered by the crab dip! Price- reasonable, on par

We walked in with a 7 top (3 kids) for a Saturday lunch. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated in the basement and greeted quickly by Hunter who took great care of us. The food came out fast and was tasty. We had wings and calamari to start and I had a fish sandwich for lunch. We will certainly consider returning on a future visit to the lake.

Stopped in for a personal size deep dish with sausage, onion and pepperoni for lunch. I went to college about a half mile from the original location in Chicago in the late 60's to early 70's. This brings back the memories. Not everyone likes deep dish but I love it if done right like it was here. Crispy crust, chunks of tomato, excellent seasoning.

The time from hostess to table was less than 3 minutes, our waitress greeted us and asked us if she could start us off with drinks to give us time to go over the menu. Started off with potato skins: red skinned mashed potatoes on a deep dish crust with cheese and bacon. The salads came out, lettuce was fresh, crisp and pretty big. Main we got New York strip (11oz) and came out perfectly cooked with a jumbo sized bake potatoes. The only disappointment was the dessert menu change: the chocolate cake was removed!

Great place. We stop a few times a year. We are from our of state. Their pizza is great, the fish is great, and the desserts are awesome and very big.

Stopped for dinner as our previous plans fell out. Pleasantly surprised with the lobster shrimp pizza on the menu, so we decided to give it a try. Excellent! A very mild taste with a good blend of meats and cheese. The shellfish were nice bite sized pieces. The flavors were so balanced that extra parmesan or hot pepper would have detracted from this pizza. Enjoyed every morsel!

Food has always been really good here, and the service is terrific. The view of the lake adds to the atmosphere nicely

Went for the Easter egg "hunt" with our almost 2 and 4 yo boys. A whole lotta eggs out on the lawn which leads right to the lake. Really awesome event, which was free. Then the staff was so great and tables on patio with unseasonably warm weather for April 9th, we stayed! Pizza. Burger. Chicken tenders and more. Then a sundae haha😀 definitely would go back next time.

Came here tonight because we were turned away from another restaurant that decided to close before their posted closing time. Service was great & prompt. Food was good. Great atmosphere. Only exception was that the cheese on the nachos sat under the heater too long while the rest of our table order was being prepared, so it was not as melted as it should have been.

Coming back from Virginia we stopped at Uno's in Deep Creek. The pepperoni pizza was one of the best we've ever had. Unique, spicy taste. Excellent drink selection also.

Highly recommended. Spectacular view of the lake. The food was delicious and was out fairly quick for the number of people. Tori was a great server, very polite and friendly.

This is not you standard UNOs. This place is awesome. Great Food, great seating, spectacular views fantastic friendly staff. They also have boat slips so you can arrive by boat. If you are in the Deep Creek area, this is a "must stop".

Have always loved Uno's pizza and today was so great! Server was very attentive, food came quickly and was perfect. Can't wait to go back again!
