Oakhurst Grill

I had dinner here everyday after long hikes in Yosemite. Josh behind the bar made the experience pretty damn great. 90s music was playing, drinks were cold, and service was quick and efficient. Definitely recommend dinner here if you're visiting Yosemite. I will continue to dine here when I visit the park. Keep the 90s vibe alive 🤟

The service here was top notch. There was always someone checking up on you and making sure everything was alright. The food on the other hand was just okay. The pizza tasted like something from a school cafeteria and the clam chowder bread bowl was a French bread bowl NOT the traditional sourdough. The Philly cheese steak was lacking in meat and veggies and the bread was like a cheese toast. It was different. People around me got steak and shrimp, and those looked promising. Maybe I'll go that route next time.

The staff were very attentive. For a party of 8 on travel that came in without reservation (really sorry, my friends aren't well known to plan things far out), we got seated in record time (15 minutes versus a 40 minute wait time). The hostess told us their best server was going to take care of us and boy was she the best. She made sure all our drinks were filled up, accommodated for my vegetarian friend's meals, and my other friend's food allergies. Y'all even impressed one of my other friends who is notoriously hard to impress. All our food came out surprisingly fast for a kitchen of 4 that had to serve dozens of patrons at that time. Overall, our waitress was phenomenal and if only Oakhurst was a walk away from SoCal, I'd go there every single day. I shall tell stories forevermore of your guys' excellent services.

If I could give this place a 6th star, I would. While they could benefit from additional staff, the service was still excellent and the food was mouthwatering. Whiskey flights and an array of drinks to include beer and wine. If you're in town visiting Yosemite, definitely stop in here for an upscale dinner. You won't be disappointed.
