Amerikas

Amerikas Restaurant disappointed me this meal. As much as I enjoyed my past visit for brunch, dinner prep was lacking. Started off well, a few 1/2 priced margaritas and taste of a chicken tortillas soup and was excited for dinner. We decided to order Chile Rellenos, Tacos with shrimp and Chorizo and Lamb Barbacoa. This wasn't a busy evening but enjoyed the drinks and company, forty minutes in we finally received our Chile Relleno... presented well and very flavorful. I asked for tortillas and received some spectacular homemade corn tortillas. This however was where the kitchen went down hill, I patiently waited but after an hour and forty minutes in, I asked to cancel the rest of our order. I watched in horror as every table around us, who was seated well after continuously received their food. I questioned the waiter and the owner came out and explained their ordering system had problems, which unfortunately affected only our meals. I thanked him for the explanation but at this point lost my appetite. Our server did his best on what was served, we finally received our tacos and Lamb Barbacoa when I asked for the check and although presented well, insisted on wrapping our food to go, for that he received a substantial tip which would have covered the meal and more... if this was a typical evening I can see why Amerikas is hit or miss.

Was really skeptical of this place until I sat down. The staff was friendly and our waiter was Great. Since it was my first time going he was very helpful by making my party even more comfortable. The food was F*cking GREAT I wish I would've taken pictures of the plates we all had. Most definitely will be returning here for future dinners and brunches.. Thanks for the Great Time and Food.

Went here for an office event and was blown away by the authentic taste of the food. Every thing I ate burst with flavor. Because we were with a large group I think we collectively had a taste of the entire menu and there were no complaints. Drinks were fab and the service was excellent. I didn't think I was a breakfast person but I am now and I can't wait to go there for dinner. This is now my new "go-to" place.
