I have traveled all over the world, so how lucky am I that my absolute favorite restaurant is on the island I live on?! Every dish is both beautiful and delicious! I love the open kitchen concept so you can actually see the chefs preparing your meal! My favorite is the rack of lamb, but I have had almost everything on the menu and it is ALL amazing! Treat yourself to the fondue as a starter and most definitely save room for dessert! I also highly recommend ordering whatever they have as a "special". It's definitely the nicest restaurant on the island and surrounding areas!

I rarely review place on the first visit. But this was fantastic and I'm not sure when I'll be back. The garlic crusted short ribs were amazing, I might get two orders of those for an entree my next visit. I would absolutely get the rack of lamb again. My friend got the special that had lobster tail and scallops I would probably get that if they had it again next time.

Food was 5 star all the way. Taste delicious and beautifully presented. The seafood chowder was full of seafood and probably one of the best I've ever had. Service was acceptable however our server could have used some training on her wines. At this level a server should be able to suggest a wine pairing when customers are unfamiliar with the list. Especially when many of the wines are sold by the bottle. As it was the wine we chose was delicious.

The nicest restaurant on the island. Melt in your mouth steaks, delicious foods. Expect to spend at least $100 to $120 for 2 people for a basic meal, not to include drinks or dessert. We'll worth the money. Make reservations. Nice romantic dinner location.

My wife and I visited Frasers Gourmet Hideaway to celebrate her birthday. It was our first time visiting Frasers and we both enjoyed the experience. The food was the best I've had in years and the service was top notch. My only complaint is that due to the open floor plan, the noise level was quite high. I have some hearing loss and it was difficult for me to hear my wife when she spoke to me. To start the meal, I ordered us Penn Cove Mussels in a garlic cream reduction. I enjoy garlic and thought this dish had a nice amount. Penn Cove Mussels are my favorite and Frasers prepares them very nicely. For my entrée, I ordered the Beef Tenderloin, a 7 ounce filet, that I ordered medium rare. I think it was prepared perfectly. It was very tasty and had a nice chew. There was one bite that had a nice char that really enhanced the flavor of that bite. The beef was served with mashed potatoes and gravy, and veggies cut into strings. My wife ordered the appetizer crab cakes for her entrée. She enjoyed them very much saying they were nice and crispy with just a bit of filling. The crab meat was cut into small pieces and had a nice flavor. For dessert we ordered a mixed berry and cream tuile. The berries were a mix of raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and blueberries and was very yummy. The meal was pricey, but not as pricey as I thought it would be and was worth every cent.

We were visiting and wanted to celebrate a special occasion, they did not disappoint. Absolutely was a wonderful experience. Service was spot on as was the food. Thank you so much for making it amazing.

Exceptional dining experience. Everything about this meal at Fraser's was too notch. Service, food, atmosphere were all comparable to any fine dining anywhere. Duck breast was prepared perfectly, and was swimming in a delectable sauce with large egg noodles. Shrimp and Crab lasagna was "off-the-chain" good. Not even a hint of "fishiness". Scallops were cooked perfectly with a beautiful risotto. Don't forget dessert! Delectable - the pastry chef should get a Michelin star alone! Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful place for dinner! Everything from the food, to the ambiance and the service were excellent. Great spot in Oak Harbor for a special meal. Their calamari are delicious and the beef tenderloin was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

This place was amazing. Not only was the food great, but the service was top notch. Now, you may think that's not a lot of detail -- but I brought in about 50 people... and they graciously attended to us all. We do quite a few things as a group, and serving that many at once is tricky on a good day. Our food was cooked right, brought out promptly, and no ones cup ever went dry. TL;DR -- great food, great service, and did it under pressure. Scott Fraser has this bit NAILED down. Will come again with a smaller number of people to get access to a bigger menu. :D

Fraser's Gourmet Hideaway is Oak Harbor's hidden jewel for fine dining cuisine in the Pacific Northwest. They are friendly, courteous and the food is so good that it defies legal logic. Scott Fraser's training in fine cuisine preparation just scratch the surface of the what you taste and enjoy when you sit down. My family and I have never had a bad meal in every aspect of our dining experiences when we visit this delectable stop of food pleasure at it's finest. Bottom line, if you want luxurious food like you read about in magazines and internet promotions, look no farther than Fraser's. It simply is the best food on Whidbey Island.... Bar None!!!!

It had been awhile since I'd visited Frasers. I was very happy to see the menu changes and enjoy a wonderful meal . Everything was a delight to the tongue and the service was what you should expect from a Great waiter staff. Truly everything you could desire in an experience when dining out. Great Food, prompt, courteous, and skilled waiter staff all working to make the dining experience excellent. Fresh Ingredients as I might experience from my own kitchen garden, cooked into a meal that was a wonderful experience to share.

I totally adore Frasers! Ive been there multiple times, and even ordered take out. My fav is the chicken and waffles, and shrimp and grits. The waffles come with an amazing honey type syrup. Only thing id say about that is its on the sweeter side. It has corn bread waffles, fried boneless chicken, slaw, and syrup. Its extremely tender, and so tasty. Ive tried many things on the menu, the lamb, the shrimp and grits, the brie fondue appetizer, the steak, and a few others. I would go with fairly large groups, so we would each try a bit of the others food. Im not sure what that single one star review is about, but whatever their issue is, its absolutely not the norm. Each time ive visited, the service was awesome (esp. Sarah...she took great care of us), the food was great...cooked to order, and perfect each and every time. The price is definitely worth what you are getting. I dont think i can say anything bad about this place. Everything is nice and clean, bathroom clean, atmosphere nice (if i had to say one thing, it can get a little loud when its really full). I can't comment on the wine, and other alcoholic beverages, as i don't like the taste of it, but i hear from the other people ive gone with that its all very good, and there's a fairly nice selection.

The best food I have had on the island! I recommend the seafood fettuccine and the surf and turf! A flavor explosion created by chefs that really know what they are doing! Please treat yourself! You won't forget it!

We had the Surf and Turf steak, scallops and prawns, with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. I have ate some amazing food in my life and can honestly say this was the best meal I've ever had. I will be craving this place for years to come! Bravo!!

It was so so good. The steak was delicious and tender. My husband’s halibut was very light and fresh! The salad with goat cheese was perfect. Then there’s the dessert! Best white chocolate cheesecake and creme brûlée ever! The setting is a beautiful old Victorian style home overlooking the bay. The service was excellent! The bathrooms beautiful and well serviced. If you don’t try this place you are missing out!

The whole experience was AMAZING! From the calamari appetizer to our entrees (red snapper and the lobster/seafood paella special) to the delectable desserts, the food was outstanding. The service was also phenomenal, as was the general atmosphere. Everybody in the restaurant, including the staff, had a pleasant and friendly attitude that contributed greatly to how much we enjoyed ourselves. Again, it was all AMAZING!!

I have eaten at a many fine restaurants, and I have yet to eat at one that has come close to the food prepared by Chef Fraser and his staff. The meals and experience is absolutely wonderful every time the wife and I dine there.

This place is a gem! In from out of town and decided to start with dessert. The almond cake with white chocolate peach ice cream was incredible as I'm sure the rest of the desserts were. Dessert was so good we stayed for dinner and enjoyed the Angus Spencer steak! Worth a day trip to see Whidbey Island to reward a hard day's climb around the beach and forest. Setting is a picturesque, open floor plan w a view of the water in Oak harbor and a view of your meal being prepared in their kitchen. The kitchen offered a unique experience, connecting you to the owner, chefs and overall dining experience! Wait staff is knowledgable and friendly!
