Papa Murphy’s

Great food, interesting pickup experience. When I placed my order online it said to pickup at 6:50 which was fine as store closed at 7pm. I was there at 6:53p and the signs were all off, doors locked, and the employees were cleaning up. I knocked and the young man shook his head no at me. I yelled through the glass that I'd like my pizza ordered online and fully paid for or a refund before I left. He nodded, unlocked the door and handed me my pizza. Food 5 stars, service 1. I don't ever post 1 star reviews as this is a small business in difficult employment times but I'm my experience the store closes when the sign states, especially for a take and bake.

Husband went to order a pizza. Posted closing time was 7 pm. As he was reaching for the door handle, employee locked door at 6:45 pm, locking him out and locking other customers in the store. I would have given zero stars, but not an option. They don’t want our business. We will get pizza elsewhere from now on. Beware: Posted hours mean nothing, and employees don’t want to work.

The pizza here is good, but I prefer the Franklin location because one of the employees here has caused negative experiences at this location. My first interaction with this employee she acted as though I was inconveniencing her by ordering several pizzas, I have a family of 6 and we don't all have the same tastes and we like to have easy reheat the next day. I ordered less than a half dozen pizzas. Ordering more is good for the company, and this was very poor customer service. The experience made me far less comfortable going back there. On a separate occasion she tried to act as though she had my order memorized and although I had confirmed it correctly, she got it wrong. I have frequently noticed that she puts work off on her coworkers there whenever she gets the chance. Everyone else there seems good if it weren't for this one employee I would give this location 5 stars. That one employee just left me with such a bad experience that I hate going to this one.

Closed on Christmas Eve even though it is listed open from 11 to 5. Called closest store and they said they had a equipment failure YESTERDAY and knew they were going to be closed. I understand things happen, but why they couldn't list it on line, have a phone message and put a sign on the door stating the problem and closest Papa Murphy's that could accommodate those that planned on getting pizzas for a birthday party.

Nestled in a tidy strip mall on the south side in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Papa Murphy's has a very nice staff and excellent "take home and bake" pizza with fresh quality ingredients and quick service. You can also order ahead for pickup. COVID-19 prevention practices in place. All staff were wearing masks and gloves. Plastic barrier also present. Pleasant atmosphere.
