Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse

I took my significant other out for a nice date night, and was absolutely not let down! The atmosphere is definitely a business casual feeling, but not so rigid. Everyone is very laid back and pleasant to speak with. Upon checking in I wasn't asked if I had a reservation, however I also never let them know so I can ding them for that. Once seated we were quickly asked for drinks, and provided three very delicious bread choices. A few minutes later they brought out the cuts for inspection and a description, as I sat drooling.. I decided on the Chicago cut (well worth), a half portion of pureed mashed potatoes and a half order of the asparagus to share, and my significant other got the filet. The steaks came out perfect, with a nice thin char crust. It's an understatement to say that I enjoyed every last bite. Yes this place is a bit pricier than your average steakhouse, but the price to experience and portions are well worth it!!!

This place has a somewhat understated upper-class vibe. Observing the patrons, you can tell they all have plenty of money, which makes sense, based on the prices on the menu. The atmosphere is energetic yet refined. Table conversation verges on shouting near peak dinner rush, but there remains a certain elegance to the experience. Service is very disciplined but not overly pretentious. Ultimately, though, it is the quality of the food that completes the 5-star level of dining experience at Gibson's. Every dish is carefully crafted with the best ingredients, combined in exceptionally flavorful ways and presented beautifully. Will return the next time I'm in town.

Gibson's is one of the best steak houses for a reason and worth every penny. It's a great restaurant for any special occasion or somewhere to have a dinner that'll blow your mind away. The Chicago Cut was one of the finest steaks I've ever had! In addition, the service is also just as good and consistent at each of their locations in the Chicagoland Area. I recommend Gibson's to anyone looking for an unbelievable experience and meal!

Hard to go wrong at Gibsons, any of their locations, really. Outstanding service from the valet in front, to the bar, and to the table throughout the meal. Food amazing (Steak properly cooked to my request) and I'm still working on leftovers from the giant turtle ice cream desert that they wrapped with care (and ice!). Thanks for a superb experience, again.

Had brunch at Gibson on a beautiful day where we got to seat outside beside a small waterfall and floral garden. Quite an amazing atmosphere. Interior is also very nice, roomy, wooden furnishing and warm-dim atmosphere (typical of steakhouses) but I much prefer the vibrant outdoor! The steak was excellent. We ordered a tomahawk on bone, medium and it was cooked to perfection, lightly charred on the outside and so juicy and tender inside. The flavors were simply divine. Crabcakes were also excellent with generous good sized proteins in it. Presentation of the food however was really lacking. The $15 salad in particular were rough chopped and thrown onto plate stuff. It really blows my mind how a restaurant like this could have such care-less attitude when it comes to presentation. Yes yes, its the taste that counts, but presentation can make or break the mood on the table too~~

Truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and elegant, setting the stage for a memorable evening. The star of the show, of course, was the steak itself. The quality of the meat was outstanding, cooked to perfection with a delightful sear on the outside and a juicy, tender interior. It was a carnivore’s dream come true, and I savored every bite. What truly elevated this dining experience, however, was the impeccable service provided by the amazing waitstaff. From their warm welcome to their expert recommendations, they made us feel like royalty throughout the meal. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive.
