I stopped by yesterday with a friend for lunch. Alberto R, who was serving us is exceptional. He is polite, helpful and smiled throughout while he brought the dishes. Since Covid, Alberto is the first server that made eating at restaurants pleasurable. I rated 4 star for food as we need more vegetarian dishes.

We were visiting family and they took us to their favorite Italian restaurant! It was crowded but we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is authentic Italian. Our waiter appeared quickly and described the specials. When he found out we were from out of town he told us the pasta was all homemade! I had the Gnocchi, they made it with pasta not potatoes, and it was fabulous. A family member had their butternut squash ravioli. I had a bite of it and it too was yummy! For dessert I had the Chocolate Budino, a warm chocolate pudding cake. This will now be the chocolate dessert I compare all other desserts.

Having worked for Lettuce Entertainment maybe fifty years ago at Johnathan Seafood in Chicago, I find again why Rich Mellman was and still is one of the most successful restaurateurs. He has the formula down pat. Our grilled calamari was very well seasoned and tender served with a pile of arugula to add color, texture and taste. All of our main dishes were well prepared and tasty as well. I especially loved the warm crusty bread that is served with a small plate of anti pasta olive oil. I actually had the last piece with the olive oil for my dessert. The main room is a bit noisy, but we lucked out and were seated in the smaller anti room, which turned out to be much quieter. We could actually hear each other talk. If you haven’t been here, it is time to make a reservation and enjoy the wonderful food. Thanks again Rich M. Great place, excellent food loved it, I had the pappedelle ,the rest of the table had ravioli . The freshness of ingredients and the skill and care that went into the meal preparation. Totally worth it,make reservations and go.You won't be disappointed.

We were fortunate to secure a table promptly this evening, as the restaurant was bustling. We ordered the grilled calamari, which were exceptionally delicious. Additionally, we ordered pepperoni pizza, gnocchi funghi, and chicken lemone, all of which were decent in taste. Despite sitting in the bar area, the service was excellent.

Great food! Great service! One of my favorites! Update 09/27/2023 Still a great place for lunch (one star off on the food because the grilled calamari was chewy).

Really decent dinner. Service was good. Nice but busy atmosphere. Calamari was good. Brussel sprouts were meh. All dinners were average. Chocolate lava cake was a standout. Very clean. Prices were in line with the food.

Thank you making this the best 80th birthday celebration for our family. The food, service, atmosphere, and staff were excellent. Especially Adam our server and now friend. Lindsay made sure every detail was met. All the staff were great.

Ahhhh-mazing Italian food! Authentic and tasty! The risotto of the day was one of the best risottos I’ve ever had in my life!!! Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5: there were small bugs that kept flying around our table, one went into my water. The waitress replaced my water with a glass that must have been sitting somewhere because the ice was almost all melted, she didn’t seem to care. But you still must try this restaurant!
