Outback Steakhouse

We went on a week night, and we were seated immediately by a friendly hostess. Our server was very accommodating and pleasant, but she had quite a few tables and didn't return to refill drinks. The food was delicious as always, and there were plenty of leftovers to take home. We also appreciate that they have placed barriers between the booths for COVID which also cuts down the noise between parties.

Ordered the prime rib, with a loaded bake potato. The meat was re heated and placed face up to not show the skillet marks. Let me get this out of the way, when I order prim rib it is just as it comes out of the oven.The potato was not really loaded, just a sprinkle of cheese sour cream and chives. I’m not sure they put butter in it. I did talk to the manager about the stake and he told me that that the outside of the meat will brown like that on the ends when in the warmer (oven). The bar tinder was just as friendly as my bar stool. No conversations just business, what are you drinking, what are you eating, is that your last drink and here is your bill. I will never visit this place again.

While the Outback entree (the 6 oz. sirloin), salad and side dish were pretty decent, the noise level was deafening. Even with social distancing, the restaurant had music blasting over the speaker system where you couldn't hear table conversation. I'm all for atmosphere, but that was utterly ridiculous.
