I ate here early one Sunday . They were welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. It took a while to get our order taken as most of the staff were chatting as the place was not yet busy . Our breakfast was well cooked and my coffee cup was never empty . I thought the bill was higher than most local breakfast spots . I still liked the experience and I'm sure I will return sometime. Hogans feels like a consistent reliable diner.
To bad this place is hidden away, I've lived In Nyack for two years and often shopped over the road in Olde World and never knew the place existed . They need better signage .

Nice place. I like the place. I stopped in early this morning for some breakfast. The Diner is large and bright and inviting and I was warmly greeted and offered a newspaper when I arrived. Coffee arrived very shortly thereafter.
I selected the Hogan’s Omelette. I tend to order items named after the restaurant, expecting it to be a signature dish. This one had bacon, cheese, green peppers, potatoes, and maybe a little onion. I found it dry, I think having pieces of potatoes included in the omelette contributed to that condition. It was likely not really their signature or most popular dish. The omelette also came with potatoes, home fries in my case. The size was fine. I suspect they have other dishes that would have been more to my liking, it looks like the kind of place that would serve excellent food.
Service was very good, the omelette arrived less than 10 minutes after being ordered, and my coffee cup was never empty. They may well be as stated on their menu, Rockland’s Favorite Diner.
First visit. Food was good, I got Maduros and rice and beans. A different diner choice. Also red decor different. All staff nice. Seated quickly at lunchtime. Would recommend!!!
Good service and good lunch specials here. I had a really nice grilled salmon Caesar salad with a cup of awesome matzah ball soup.

A pleasant alternative to the uber expensive restaurant inside the Hotel Nyack. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive and the food was hot and delicious. They weren't shy about refilling your coffee lol. A real diner experience. They had a brief menu of Spanish food which looked very enticing.
A great diner with super burgers and great curly fries that are not a grease fest like most. Love the old-school decor. Will make it a regular stop ant time I have to cross the Tappan Zee
Loved it! So much flavor on their "huevos rancheros" the kids meal was a decent portion for the little ones, the morning proseco hit the spot! And the best part was their staff so friendly.
Great food great and fast service. Great service throughout the years with quality food.
