Freight House was recommended by a worker at a store I was in town visiting. When he told our little group it was his favorite, we had to go. I'm a big soup lover and they had tomato bisque so that's what I ordered with a toasted cheese sandwich. The soup was the best tomato bisque I think I ever had. I'm sad this place is over an hour away because I would be there every week for the soup for sure. Very friendly waitress that took good care of us.

They've got really tasty food. Their Ruben (when it comes rote out of the kitchen is Amazing) The atmosphere is nice. Last visit they we're short staffed (not their fault) so we had quite a wait. The frustrating part was we were never told they were short staffed and just waited and waited at our table... I ordered a salad as a starter. It didn't come until they brought the sandwich , which was 30 minutes. Great place overall. Will be going back!

I love giving 5 stars and would have but my little one didn't get fries with his pizza, this wasn't annotated in the menu so it was too late. Also, fish and fries was way over cooked. Maybe they were busy, dunno. Large party and everyone else was very happy. Would still go back again

Amazing drinks! It’s super cute inside and the pizza was good. Our waiter wasn’t very friendly unfortunately. And I was disappointed about not having dessert even though it was on the menu. They should have a sign or temporary menus so people don’t get their hopes up.

Great wing night. Best potato skins I've ever had. Super friendly, welcoming staff. And the coolest building/memorabilia of any bar or restaurant in Norwalk. We frequent this spot often.

I had the Saturday special-yes- I said special on a Saturday of half rack of ribs with 2 sides. It was delicious. The BBQ sauce was smoky and tangy, the meat fall off the bone tender. This was our first time there..it won't be our last!

This place is a hidden gem!
I brought my 6 year old for a lunch date last weekend and we came back this weekend with the rest of the family. The food is delicious and Jessica (who waited on us both times) is very friendly and great with the kids!
