Village Bagels

I have been here twice so far. Both times what I've tried has been better than good. The villager i had on wheat toast and even though I received it with no condiments it was still good. I also had turkey delight and I meant to hold the tomatoes but even with the tomatoes it lived up to its name. It had a good amount of sprouts, tomato wasn't soggy, and the herb and garlic spread was a great touch. I also tried their cinnamon buns, coffee cake (one of the best i ever had), and raspberry rugalach (sp?) and all were good. I mean pricing is high especially for the portions and sizes but it definitely is quality. The customer service leaves a little to be desired but not complaint worthy. I'll be back.

Best!!!! The staff greet you with a smile and it gets better from there! They know their regulars and they treat everyone like they want you to be a regular! Bagels are best in the city! Sandwiches are awesome and the food is presented well and obviously fresh! Always a line so don't be in a rush! This isn't a complaint, it's a compliment. A line means high turnover for the stock. It equals approval and popularity! Trust your neighbors, go to this neighborhood bagel place!
