Sonic Drive-in

I’ll start by saying that I work in customer service and has for 3 years to add on top of that I am a manger as well at a fast food restaurant. I have been going to this restaurant for almost a year now to get food and every single time the customer service has been, and not even to exaggerate, the absolute worst. Now you might wonder why I keep coming back if it’s so bad? Because the food is absolutely the best. Nothing has been wrong with my order the food is always great. The only thing that makes the restaurant not 5 stars is the workers. The attitude you receive right whenever you order and when you leave has you ready to fight someone. That’s how bad they treat you. I understand they are short staffed and over worked and has been for awhile now but anyone who has or is working in customer service KNOWS that it is not acceptable to be that way to customers. Do better Sonic in Norton, do a little better.

I ordered breakfast burrito a brioche and pickle O's and I waited from 1025 when I started my order till 1106 when I pulled out after getting my order. When I pulled up to the window the girl that handed me my food tried to hand me drinks that I didn't order. She then proceeded to hand me my food, she didn't say "I'm sorry for your wait", no empathy at all for the 40 min wait time. But looking past her the other two girls there wasn't working but looked like they was playing around and picking at each other's clothes, not caring that I had 4 cars behind me and they closed 6 min ago. If anything else in our area was open to order from I would have went there and left with the like 6 other cars that got in line behind me that didn't wait because the wait time was way too excessive. But I just went to pals and got the other 3 people in my family food and barely waited 5 min on drinks 4 burgers 3 fries and a chili dog. I got there 1 min before closing and they had me out of there by 1007. So I couldn't imagine if I ordered for my whole family how long I would have waited. I won't be back anytime soon.

This place is the most annoying place in Wise Co. And Norton. When they are serving people they don't know how to say "we will be with you in a moment" Sorry about that or anything. They are silent until they are ready to take your order. And if they are taking orders for the park-in eat spots. At least twll the people in the drive thru to please hold!!! I hate coming here anymore

We were at Sonic Restaurant in Norton Virginia on April 5th 2022. We placed an order. We waited 20 minutes for our order. We pushed the button to find out why we hadn't received our order. We were told that the person who took our order had dropped it. That was the worst service we had ever received at any Sonic we have been to. Needless to say we will not be going back to that location again.

Great place to waste time and money! 10 to 15 minutes just for a RT 44 Diet Coke, which was absolutely nasty! I also ordered 2 FRITOS® Chili Cheese Jr Wrap. I stayed away from this place for several year's, I tried to give them another chance! Feel free to go at your own risk, do not be in a rush if you are hungry or thirsty!

Slow as hell. We ordered at 10:30. At 10:55 it said "Brandon" was on his way with our order. It was 11:10 when the order was finally delivered and it was wrong. In the app it shows the shake has whipped cream and a cherry and they NEVER make it with the whipped cream and cherry. When you tell them it is made wrong they tell you whipped cream and cherry cost extra, you show them the app and they tell you they can't remake it. We also had to wait for them to bring out the chili dogs that we ordered, good thing that only took a minute not another 15 minutes. 2/11/2022 update Nothing has changed. Tonight we were in line for over 45 minutes, 5 or so was spent in front of the order box and NO ONE said anything so we pulled forward since I already made an app order and once submitted they are non refundable. Also AS ALWAYS the order was wrong. We ordered 5 shakes and they COME WITH whip cream and when we said something we were told that cost extra, u showed them the app and again was told it cannot be remade. Included picture of the app for proof this time. It very clearly says it comes WITH whip cream and cherry!!!

Got a 1/2 price milkshake classic chocolate from the rewards on the app for my husband. Its was a surprise. When I got it from the girl I thought it was light. I looked and it was thin and if it had any whipped cream it was not there, it was melted. The cup had a regular lid, not the kind with the hole in the top. (Maybe they were out) I went back since my husband's work was close and ordered food with the coupon book they had gave me. I told them about the shake. They were nice and gave me another. It was the same way.. it must've been the lid , no room for whipped cream or cherry on top. The people were nice. Especially the server.
