Good burgers. Nice portions. Great atmosphere. Alexis was a fantastic waitress! The hostess was a lil unfriendly and inconsiderate. She did not wait for our entire party to get thru the door before she took off to seat us. But that did not ruin our evening. Definitely recommend and return.
While visiting some friends in VA we went out to find something to eat on Christmas Eve. I know, stupid. But we found this place open. We are SO GLAD that we did! The food was unbelievable! The staff was super friendly! And there was no wait time (that may have been because of the day). I cant say enough about this place! I look forward to going back every time we visit our friends.
I had heard about this place and when we came up we had to try it. It seems like a hole in the wall but trust me, it was worth the drive! We both had a burger. His was the fried Mac & cheese burger and mine was the hangover with a fried egg on top. Gracious it was good! If you’re in the area, make sure you stop in for a bite.
The food and service here is always excellent. We come from 2 hours away just to eat here! Last trip had the lunch special steak and no joke it was equivalent to the best tasting and cooked steak I've ever had. Tastes as good as a perfectly cooked Ribeye. Gem of a place!
Only suggestion is, the front seating area is a little too hot and smoky from kitchen, not sure if that can be resolved or not just mentioning it. Back area is perfect though!
This place is amazing. The food, the atmosphere, everything! I’ve tried both pasta dishes and they are fantastic. The burgers look great, too. I came for the novelty of the restaurant—love how much they love the Wood Booger—and was amazed by the quality of the food and the bar. You can’t beat the price of drinks here, and there’s an amazing selection! This is more than a hole in the wall, this became a favorite.
Most everything on their diverse menu is well prepared and tasty. Prices are reasonable, and the decor is exactly what you'd expect. Service is usually timely and friendly.
Try the Mac and Cheese topped with pulled pork as an entree!
