Wonderful place. Amazing food. Staff is warm and friendly. And the table cloth atmosphere is inviting and romantic.
Dinner salads for starters we're fantastic. The made from scratch vinaigrette was heaven.
I had the encrusted wild Alaskan Halibut. Didn't care for the rice as it had a Cheese-Its flavor. The fish however was outstanding. This will be one of our GoTo places when visiting the Detroit area.
Terrific calamari that is lightly breaded, super tender, and practically melts in your mouth. The trout was perfectly grilled with a crispy exterior that still flaked like a properly cooked fish should.
Table 5 has a romantic setting, along with delicious food and coffee. Great service as well. Great for a special occasion, or a nice quiet meal.
I happily give it a four for overall service and quality of food, but I'd give it a negative rating for graciousness for simple special requests.
Each dish here is complete--there are no choices to be made. And that's fine as long as you like and can eat what's included. Tonight, my husband ordered the chicken, but wanted a different vegetable.
Our server said she needed to check with the chef. When she returned she said, "He's too busy to make the substitution." TOO BUSY?? Really?
Even if he is, that's 1) a crappy, non-gracious way to frame the "no," and 2) too damn bad.
My husband ended up not ordering anything at all, and, had we not been with a group, we would have left. I won't return--ever.
Love Table 5. I've been there a few times, and I've always been impressed with the food and wine. The calamari is my go-to small plate - it's tender and delicious, and the remoulade served on the side may be my favorite condiment ever. The butters that are served with the bread are always fantastic, and Brian will always keep a fresh plate of bread in front of you at the bar until you cry 'uncle'. Overall, the food is a good value, considering the quality of what you're getting.
Best Food, Best Service, Best Value. We drive 25 minutes nearly each week from Ann Arbor, a town that is known for quality restaurants, just to dine at Table 5. They are simply the best in all categories. The chef is excellent, the servers are there for you, the bartender (Brian) is excellent, and management is very visible and involved and so very nice. We find that prices are very competitive. It is obvious to us that Northville is thriving and Table 5 is evidence of this. We love Table 5.
Very Nice Meal. My wife and I had a very nice meal there on a Friday night. Place was very busy with a reasonable noise level. Most of the menu items were not standard and I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted to try. I will definitely return. I chose the coulotte steak and it delicious.

Really good experience! Calimari appetizer was good. Salmon with "hodgepodge" spring peas was very tasty. They even had a vegetarian spaghetti squash entree. Great place to take a client or entertain a customer.
Food was great service was awesome. Scallops were awesome. Great dinner and a good time
Every year at Christmas time, my family and I meet up here with our dear friends from Ohio. We always suggest new meeting places, but we always end up at Table 5, and we are never disappointed. The food is top-notch, but the staff and setting are anything but the pretentious ones that come with other high quality restaurants of the same caliber.
