Myself and a group of friends had the most amazing meal here last night. The thought which had been put into the preparation of the meals was exceptional. I had the venison for my main and it was simply incredible. Fantastic traditional pub with friendly staff who looked after us very well. Well worth a visit.

Great place for lunch. Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Both the Salt marsh lamb duo and Tuna with Greek salad we're superb dishes. A "must try" for people. Very tasty.

Brilliant local village pub. Tons of charm and history. Great beer garden, did welcome too.
Paul the bar manager is a great guy too, very hospitable and helpful.
Food not served on Mondays, but bar snacks are available.
Loads of ales on tap. Loads of flavoured gins as well.
Looking around at the decorations on the walls, and photos to look at. Plenty to chat about.
Loads of seating for food or just chatting and relaxing as well.
Car park is small, but that's not the fault of the pub and if you get here early, there's always a space available. If it's full, just park down the raid on the high street. It's merely a 1 minute walk away.

Have visited the OCT a few times now, absolutely love the pub and keep coming back. A really pleasant atmosphere, nice decor, plenty of seating, outdoor seating too. The OCt has an excellent gastro style menu, high standard of food came out and well presented. It's a very quaint pub, I love the layout, the staff are always polite and attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

Great traditional pub, have been a few times now. The staff are great, and the food is well above average. Interesting menu, generous portions and cooked perfectly. A bit of a gem really 👍

Loved the baked Camembert for a starter...you get a generous amount of bread to dip into the cheese. Went for the beef roast... the meat was tender, feel like it could of had a bit more flavour to it... the yorkshire was dry, didnt end up eating it. Generous portion size otherwise...service was great. We had a glass of red which wasn't great and they allowed us to swap them over to another. Parking is very limited.

Fantastic pub with the most amazing Sunday roast. Other meals looked great too, but I was ecstatic about my roast beef and trimmings. Happened by this place, and I’m glad I did. The parking lot is small, and so is the restaurant - however, they do have a lovely wee garden when the weather cooperates. The decor is what you expect, but the coziness of this pub makes it a true gem. I will be back when I’m back in the region.
