This is a lovely pub in a pretty village. We stayed here as a Brit Stop and it was very quiet and peaceful! Just off the M1 so great instead of services!

Went in for lunch which was very nice, the atmosphere was a bit flat though, the bar area isn't very nice or welcoming but the "restaurant" area is better. Very much a locals pub I feel but worth a trip for lunch if maybe not an evening meal to impress your partner.

Stopped here for a drink. Nice country pub, with a good garden. Lovely helpful staff great friendly atmosphere.

Whilst the pub wasn't our first choice in the surrounding area, I'm glad we went. The head chef was incredibly accommodating with our dietary and child requirements. Beer was great, portion size was great and the loaded chips selections were fantastic and definitely not a 'side'! Could barely move post meal.

Visited on Saturday for the first time as our daughter had recently moved round the corner.
Five main meals ordered and all five people commented how tasty and fresh the food was and the portion sizes , same with all five deserts (we couldn't fault a single thing).
Very welcoming and friendly staff and management, I would definitely recommend trying this place out and we will be back on our next visit.

Wonderful Sunday lunch with exceptional service. Mother’s Day lunch with my son and his partner. Stunning roast with beautifully cooked vegetables. Plentiful, fresh, home made Yorkshire puddings, just lush.
Service was prompt, pleasant and knowledgeable. All staff were absolutely lovely and happy to be there. Nothing was too much trouble.
The sticky toffee pud and coffee was exceptionally good too x

Really great place to stop off for food. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, i didn't give it the full 5 stars because i felt the decorations were a bit dated. But over all attentive staff and tasty food that is a good size of portion.
