Hillview Snack Bar

I play here every weekend and have so for years. While the harsh winters of 2014, & 2015 did leave the greens, tees, & course in rough shape. It's come back, and by mid-summer will be playing well. A little TLC by course Maintenence staff, and players ensuring they follow rules of replacing divot's in greens, and fairways, etc. And Hillview will be in great shape again.

Played 18 holes on May 11th 2014 and the course was in terrible condition. Very little grass on the tees and greens, mostly hard pan.Some were punched but, nobody mentioned that while taking my money! I've played there often in the past and now it barely resembles a golf course. They charged their full rates, no junior/senior rate, no afternoon rate. As a municipal course I suppose the town is to blame for not buying grass seed or fertilizer or paying the help. But, they are giving municipal course's a bad name with what used to be a pretty nice place to play. If you love golf, you've shouldn't go there...
