Overall our experience was good. The food was good, the service was good. There are a few things that people need to be aware of before going though. They charge a fee for cards. I'm a firm believer that this should be built in as an operating cost. Offer a discount for cash if you'd like but punishing me because I chose not to use cash leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
They also will not let you alter a menu item. I do not eat onions. I asked to leave them off of my entree and they refused. You never know when someone has a food allergy or some reason to not eat specific ingredients. I ordered it, onions and all and picked around as best I could.
I should keep this to myself because I want to be able to actually get in when we visit NMB, but what a wonderful place! Our food was great and the people were even better! Thank you so much Michelle and Joseph for a lovely lunch.
Highly recommend! Cute, eclectic, great food, amazing prices. Definitely a locals place. Wonderful staff! Don’t be put off by what is next door. Come and support a welcoming to all small business!
I rarely write reviews but I had to praise the staff at this restaurant for not only their food, but also for the extraordinary consideration for my gluten free dietary needs. Both the server and the rest of the staff were very involved to make sure I had a delicious meal to meet my dietary needs. It had been 4 years since I had been able to have fried seafood 🍤, it was delicious. The seafood bisque was awesome and Gluten free as well. The restaurant was clean and homey. The rest of our nparty thought the hush puppies and homemade honey butter were some of the best they had ever had. My husband loved the fried Pollack. I highly recommend this small local place. If I lived in the area, we would definitely eat here again. Thanks to everyone for making my experience so nice! 😃
A friend and I stopped by for a late lunch. We were immediately greeted and seated. They bring the specials white board to the table so that you have time to look it over. Also have a menu. Food was great! Between us we had grouper fingers, scallops, oysters, free hushpuppies, chef salad and she-crab soup. Delish. Service was great! Lots of locals here; waitress knew all if them. Lots of take-out, too! We will be returning!
Every bite of food was so good, people at my table made yum noises. They take the simplest of food and make it amazing. Of they have blueberry cobbler when you go, get it! We got ours to go and it hit the spot. I will make a point of visiting every time we are in the area. So good!
Staff very friendly. Restaurant a mom and pop locals place. Seafood special with fish and deviled blue crab very good along with tasty hush puppies and tea.
WOW!! Great find in all of Myrtle Beach! You HAVE TO GO! We got the 2 seafood platter. Well it came with the best popcorn shrimp AND 2 DEVILED CRABS!! Just a great place with AMAZING SERVICE! Joseph was so polite and attentive! Then a sweet lady came out and asked how everything was! Hush puppies were perfect too! We will DEFINITELY be back! Oh yea… got ready to leave and they even offered us delicious chocolate chip cookies!! You will not be disappointed! Great prices, food, service, atmosphere and service!
The food was really good - we had the lunch special for the most part. Really good, classic beachy seafood meal.
What really shined was the staff - super friendly, local feeling place that made us feel genuinely cared for. Came with 12 of us, and they went out of their way to accommodate all of us. We had a 2 month old with us, and our waitress was super sweet with him.
Can't recommend it enough!
The best food... seafood or otherwise!! Great prices, outstanding service, and everyone, whether your first or your thousandth visit, is treated like old friends! Love this place ❤️
